A list of puns related to "Karen Dalton"
Hello! Would absolutely love to watch the above documentary. It's out in the US but not available to watch in Europe. "Blues and folk singer Karen Dalton was a prominent figure in 1960s New York. Idolized by Bob Dylan and Nick Cave"

So Karen Dalton has a song called "Something On Your Mind" that I recently heard and I'm trying to find who sings the cover that I have in my memory.
It's much more recent than the original but not current either. I want to say it's from the 90's but I'm not positive about that. The cover is also from a female singer and I feel like I remember it having a sort of country feel to it. Her voice sounded something like Sheryl Crow or Steve Nicks.
I just know I've heard the lyrics "Didn't you know you can't make it without ever even trying. Somethings on your mind"
I've listened to a handful of covers and none of them are the ones that I am looking for. Does anybody remember the song I am thinking of?

Hey everybody. I tried making a post a week ago with no luck so I'm going to try one last time before giving up.
Karen Dalton has a song called "Something On Your Mind" that I recently heard and I'm trying to find who sings the cover that I have in my memory.
It's much more recent than the original (1971) but not current either.
Somethings on your mind, these days" Part of me also somewhat recalls the lyric "Didn't mean to leave you far behind" but that I'm less confident in and isn't even in the lyrics for the Karen Dalton song.
Here is a list of covers that I know it is not.
