A friend is stuck in a really bad situation involving SA and now homelessness and has started a GFA. Imagine my surprise when I saw our darling Junebug popping up in the comments (we're on the other side of the world!) to not donate at all but attempt to make the post about themselves.
Didn't they brag about having enough money to donate to their friend's friends and having credit cards with no money owing? Maybe donate???
After an enraged June´s threat to kill Tuello for letting Frederic walk in exchange for being an asset I've been seeing a lot of speculative posts and comments about June possibly killing Freddie. June might feel like a killer after all the group killings Gilead forced on her but the truth is June has never been and nor is she a senseless killer who kills for sport. In fact I dare anyone to point me to the moment June killed senselessly or killed anyone because she felt like it. As for the commanders at Jezebels June didn't just kill them but instead as a member of the paramilitary organisation known as Mayday she saw an opportunity to hit a military objective in the form of military commanders and like any soldier she seized the opportunity and struck. There were no civilian casualties meaning she's free from personal blame as the terrorist act itself was on behalf of Mayday and falls within military manuals both US and international. So please stop inferring that June kills at a whim as that is far from the truth. Cut our Junebug some slack.
I saw some bullshit on this subreddit saying that MOB was mad because F$ was trapping near them and making more money than they was so they occasionally sent members like JuneBug to go rob them and they wasn’t fucking with it so DaDa killed him but it was confirmed by FBG Brick’s mother that F$ wasn’t behind the hit so who tf did it?
I watched Junebug on Netflix recently and really enjoyed the film and lot of the performances are great. Amy Adams and Embeth Jean Davidtz are terrific on screen together. Amy Adams also was nominated for best supporting actress in the film.
Looked into the filmmaker and was surprised he hadn’t directed much after such a strong start. His next feature was All Is Bright (2013) with Paul Giamatti and Paul Rudd which is pretty solid. he was getting buzz as the next indie darling it would seem like he would get more opportunities especially after an Oscar nomination.
bonus: Yo la tengo did the music for the film. they’re a great band and did a good job with the music.
I played through KRZ just before Christmas, and I loved it, it's really stuck with me. Another part of it that I loved was Junebug's song, so I picked up the album from bandcamp. What other artists are there with similar music to the Junebug album?

Well shes not technically my kitty because i havnt been successful catching her but shes an abandoned stray that is crying loudly but too fast to catch. A man scared her badly and she ran under something structuted with no accesss and didnt come out and i sat there til almost 1am trying to coax her to me again. I had to leave after no success and its somewhere scary by the road. She came up to me very close at one point but she kept getting scared off before i could get her..a very high man was waving a hammer around another was screaming angrily at a nonexistant woman and both circling us...the one with the hammer was very chatty and seemed irritated so we had to get out of there til tomorrow so please can someone loan me a live trap please! Shes crying, seems semi tame but not tame enough for a stranger to catch, and no mom! I want to help her and hope someone can help too?
