Hello everyone.
Today, I thought I'd draw on the knowledge and experiences of the community to assist me in making a decision (and hopefully assist others with the same question in the future).
In terms of made-to-measure suits, I am looking at Men's Wearhouse's Joesph Abboud custom line versus Indochino's services. I am looking for a double-breasted suit with pleated pants and a wide lapel in a brown fabric, which Indochino can do. Joseph Abboud has a far more limited fabric range and no lapel width options, but in the absence of browns I'd bet they probably have a blue I can tolerate.
My question is: which is going to be a better final product for the money?
The Indochino will run me $400, while the Abboud will be $325 to $380 (discounted down from $895-$1095) depending on fabric. At this comparable price point, I'd say the main issues then become: stylistic options, customer service, accuracy of fit, and quality of construction. I will be going in to a physical store for both, so I will be measured by a person.
Any thoughts?
thanks in advance
edit: before anyone recommends SuitSupply to me, lemme say I'd rather not spend $550-$600 // another edit: looks like I will be spending that much hehehe
Longtime reader first time poster.
I actually picked up this suit last year and liked the quality, but the cut and MW's cuts in general just don't fit me well and I didn't have space for it. This year with more space and time, $99 plus a bit of tailoring will get you a pretty nice suit if you can pull off the kind of boxy/low armhole MW cut. If this comes up again I might give it another try.
I'm also curious what other suit people here think. Based on research and actually feeling the suit in person, I do believe the item is half canvas and the material felt luxurious. I don't remember what the mill was but other times I've had MiUSA it's been Biello or Marzetto(SP?).
EDIT: weird, I thought the link was included. Anyway
Year 328
Premier Joseph Abboud, who has faithfully served his position for 11 years, has resigned today for personal family reasons. Abboud will retire to live with his family in Dondon. We extend our wishes for a speedy and happy retirement to Premier Abboud.
"After 11 years, it is with the greatest regret that I have resigned my position as Premier," said Abboud. "The people have continued to look for a person who has the potential to help govern the country and it is time for that person to not be me. I wish all the best to the Republic and look forward to the future of our country with great enthusiasm. May destiny be on the side of whoever succeeds me."
As is required in the Haitian constitution, the Haitian National Convention will vote from a list of candidates as to who will be the next Premier of the Democratic Republic of Haiti. Whoever is elected will be up for election again in Year 332.

Just saw this on Slickdeals. Not sure on the quality of these, but for $10 and local free returns, thought I would take a chance. Sign up for their rewards program for free shipping. Some of the sizes / colors are not available.
I can't seem to make a linked post out of this, but here is the link. Go for the vests - look sharp and are under $20.
With the $4.50 scarfs, and $7 gloves, this could make an outfit under $30. The topcoats for $50 seem like a really good deal as well.
Can anyone comment on the quality of these suits? I picked one up from Men's Warehouse from a two for one deal. I'm a college student and can't afford a pricier suit, and this seemed like decent quality for Men's Warehouse.

SuitSupply:
Joeseph Abboud via Men's Warehouse:
Both options give me a custom MTM suit and a tailored suit off the rack. All are half canvased and of similar fabric quality. The Joseph Abboud suits will be much less expensive, but I'm wondering if there is there anything I'm missing here?
Has anyone ever seen these? Other than the link right to the Joseph Abboud website, I can't find anything on the internet's about these shoes. I love the look, so bought a pair. I'm just curious if anyone has any input about the quality. Are they as good as normal AEs?
Any info or opinions are welcome.
