A list of puns related to "Joe DiMaggio"
Note that Baseball-Reference considers Mar/Apr to be one month, and Sep/Oct too.
HINT #1 - He had been traded just a couple of months before.
u/Wraithfighter got it right. >!Randy Winn with 106 total bases in Sep/Oct 2005.!<
These are the Top 15:
Only 3 of these streaks have been this century. Given the way baseball's played now, it's highly unlikely, but there may be rules changes and advent in technology that could make it possible. But right now, I can't see it. How about you guys?

And I still could care less about baseball! :D
28 down, 28 to go.
After years of on-and-off (mostly off) badge collecting on Sporcle, I've managed to amass 179 badges now, including "Hey, It's Leap Day", "Seventh Heaven", "Furious Fingers" and "Published" (my current rarest badge).
For years I've been aware these badges exist. But now it's time to finally go for them.
I'm actually not too fussed about getting ALL the badges. There are hundreds that are for getting 50% or 100% on various specific quizzes. And there's loads for winning showdowns and things which I don't really care for. But these rare / difficult-to-obtain ones are more interesting for me.
So far I am on a 7-day streak for ATWI80D. Despite the longer number of days of consecutive quizzing this badge requires, this will be the easier/more fun one for me, because I actually like Geography quizzes. I have the badge for playing 100 geography quizzes in 3 days even, which I got unintentionally.
I'm only on my second day for Joe DiMaggio. This one's going to be harder because I really couldn't care one iota about baseball.
Wish me luck, I've still got a LONG way to go! As it is I almost forgot today! Thankfully Sporcle reminded me!
EDIT: 14/05/21 - I've played my Geography and Baseball quiz for today, putting me on 10% for Around the World! Still only 3/56 for Joe though (5%). I'll probably post an update when I reach 20% on Around the World. I'm going to try and play an Africa quiz each day to get the 54 consecutive Africa quizzes while I'm at it, seeing as I feel of all the continent badges that will be the hardest and longest. In fact, if I play an Africa quiz every day from now, I'll actually get Joe DiMaggio and African Safari on the same day!
EDIT: 22/05/21 - At 20% for both Around the World (16/80) and Joe DiMaggio (11/56). I'm also playing an Africa quiz each day to get the African Safari badge, and I'm at 9/54 on that. I'll actually get African Safari and Joe DiMaggio on the same day if I keep going!
This is the twelfth track from Wilco and Billy Braggβs second collaborative album, Mermaid Avenue Vol. II. How do you feel about this song? What are some of your favorite lyrics? How would you rank it among the rest of the bandβs discography? How would you rate it out of 10 (decimals allowed)?
SUGGESTED SCALE:
1-4: Not good. Regularly skip.
5: Itβs okay, but I might have to be in the right mood to listen to it.
6: Slightly better than average. I wonβt skip it, but I wouldnβt choose to put it on.
7: This is a good song. I enjoy it quite a bit.
8-9: Really enjoyable songs. I rank them pretty high overall.
10: Masterpiece, magnum opus, or similar terminology.
Rating Results
I've heard he had family ties to the Gambinos. Is this true?
Joe DiMaggio: 289 GP
Ralph Kiner: 296 GP
Eddie Mathews: 302 GP
Ryan Braun: 264 GP
Albert Pujols: 318 GP
Pete Alonso: 218 GP
It just seems like I've been doing it for ages already and I'm not even near being anywhere near being close.
I'm only at day 11 for Around the World, I'm literally only 14% of the way there. It seems like such a long way off. Joe DiMaggio is even worse because I don't care about baseball. I'm on day 6 of 56.
And there have already been some days where I almost forgot to play my daily Geography and MLB quiz. There was even a time where I played a Geography quiz which turned out to have been categorized as "Just for Fun" and it didn't count. I luckily realized this at 10pm so I didn't lose my streak.
I just don't see how I'm going to get to 80 days without something happening. Me forgetting some day or the power/internet going out or something like that.
