In 1976 Carl Anderson, Ted Neeley, and Yvonne Elliman reprised their roles of Judas/Jesus/Mary for a series of concerts to benefit the California Youth Theatre. The rest of the cast was filled with local actors and the concerts were recorded as a cast recording that either had a very limited release or was just given to cast/crew.

This is an extremely rare recording of three songs from the an Italian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar from the early 00's. Carl Anderson played Judas in this tour EXCEPT from a VERY rare occasion where he played Jesus. This is three songs (What's the Buzz, Poor Jerusalem, and Gethsemane) soundboard recordings from a night where he played Jesus. This is VERY VERY rare. Also included is a radio broadcast from this production that has a twelve minute melody from the show (where Carl sings Heaven on Their Minds)
