A list of puns related to "Jamie Reidy"
This excerpt is from Jamie Reidyβs Book Hard Sell (2005) in which he describes his life as a Pharma sales Representative for Pfizer. Reidy is a Roman Catholic who attended Notre Dame. Viagra, a product of Pfizer was given FDA approval on March 27, 1998--so the Pope in question would be Pope John Paul II--a good pal of pedophile Jeffery Epstein. The meeting between Pfizer executives and Pope John Paul II took place before Viagra was given FDA approval, as the Wall Street Journal reported on the event on March 19, 1998.
Quoting from pg. 189 (digital version)
>My parents hoped Iβd grow up to be a doctor or lawyer; boner maker never made the list. On paper, it may not have appeared to be an important or dignified job, but Iβll bet the men for whom Viagra worked would argue differently. Even the Pope validated what we were doing. In a brilliant marketing move, Pfizer contacted the Vatican to get its approvalβits blessing, if you willβof Viagra. There had been concern within Pfizer that the Catholic Church might oppose Viagra because it would undoubtedly be used by unmarried couples and masturbating men, two church no-nos. Fortunately, the Pope chose to focus on the benefits Viagra would provide married couples. Declaring that Viagra would restore vitality to many marriages, he enthusiastically supported the introduction of the little blue pill. Viagra may not have resulted in an increase in church attendance, but it certainly caused many parishioners to scream out the Lordβs name for the first time in years. I was stunned to see how many older peopleβolder than my parents, even!βstill desired sex. On several occasions, I thought I had mistakenly walked into a World War II reunion rather than a urology office.
pg. 11
>Growing up in my parentsβ home, conversations about sex were as common as visits from the Pope and about as comfortable. My dad had so looked forward to our βbirds and beesβ talk that my mom finally had to step in and explain things to me. Consequently, I was caught of guard when, during a phone conversation in mid-March 1998, just days before Viagra received FDA approval, he jokingly referred to having s-e-x.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
OK Folks, here is my first stab at combining all the names of all the donors to the campaigns that have announced their donor list.
Of course, no one has done exactly the same as anyone else, so there is undoubtedly some errors om this content. There are some easy fixes and I will work on those. If you know of any other candidate that has announced their list, I would be happy to add.

Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
