A list of puns related to "Invasive species in the United States"
I live in the United States, and whenever I hear about an invasive plant or animal species like kudzu or the spotted lantern fly, itβs an Old World species (typically from East Asia).
Are there species indigenous to the territory of the continental United States that are invasive species in the Old World? (Iβm not talking about a mainland species that is an imported nuisance in, say, Hawaii - Iβm asking about a species thatβs a nuisance in mainland Asia, Africa or Europe)

Invasive species have really overrun our state and it's far too much work for the strike team to do. But if more people just monitored their yards or where they walk the dog this task could be made exponentially easier (and cheaper)

So garlic mustard is a super bad invasive species in NJ that it killing our trees. It grows fast and it releases chemicals that kill the fungus trees need to survive. The plant is easy to Id and easy to remove so I figured I would post about it so if you all are going hiking or around your house you can remove. Furthermore it is edible and makes a damn good pesto sauce for pasta which I highly recommend. The plant can be found throughout the year but is probably most easily identified when it's full grown as it has many white flowers and spikes https://imgur.com/gallery/VEQIcDA.
Here are some links to provide some information on it. it.https://emswcd.org/removing-garlic-mustard/

New Jersey is truly a beautiful state and if more people lended a helping hand we can help keep it a beautiful state. Even if you just kill it when it's full grown stopping it from producing seeds it's very helpful. Hope this was informative.
Keeping a cat indoors is the safest option for for the cat and as long as the cat is provided plenty of tools to exercise their instincts, they are perfectly happy. Besides the benefits of a cat being kept indoors in terms of safety and avoiding illnesses such as FIV, cats are not natural predators in many areas and have single handedly been the cause of endangerment and even extinctions of hundreds of species of birds and other small animals. Please keep your cats indoors and lets not do the environment more harm than we have already done.
Edit: Thank you kind redditors for my first awards ever ππ
