I bought my car without a warranty last week, after 4 days and 3 drives a warning popped up saying "Check Hybrid System Pull Over Immediately" Also the airbag in the passenger seat is now off. Neither of these problems were mentioned when I bought it. They checked it out and couldnt figure it out so they want to send it to a Toyota dealership, but they might charge me for it. Is there anything I can do to protect myself from getting extra charges on a car I bought 1 week ago?

Now I will be the first to say that OC Transpo is atrocious and that the trains were poorly designed. However, they were a necessary first step for a city of Ottawa’s size that may not ever have been built.

The amount of research and delays could have prevented the trains from ever being built. Remember how Ottawa removed its streetcars (not unlike a lot of North American cities) as it started its addiction of car dependence? The LRT probably would not have gotten approved had work started during or after the pandemic because of federal government possibly adopting hybrid work model and the only reason the future phases are going on are because of the sink cost into phase 1. I hope they fix the issues and actually promote denser zoning around stations in phases 2 and 3 so more people can use the LRT and it doesn’t become and infrequency commuter train like parts of GO Transit (looking at you London-Toronto).

Not sure how to deal with this dashboard error - the exclamation within a tire icon is showing (left of the headlights icons) and Caution exclamation in the triangle (left of the fuel economy gauge), but I can't seem to find any further metrics on this in any of the system menus, nor in the online manual.

Is this a sensor error that requires this to go into the dealership, or is it something I can check out and find the issue at home? For that matter, I can't find anywhere that actually shows current tire pressure. I did get my winter tires on about a month ago.

ETA - After speaking to Hyundai Service Dept, this IS an issue that it needs to go in for as there may be a malfunctioning sensor.

Hello wonderful community!

Has anyone had any experience with reactive attenuators for recording guitars with their amp heads? A peer recently mentioned it to me and to date I’ve usually always mic’d cabinets or reamped at a later date after tracking a DI.

I would love to hear of people’s thoughts and experiences with this method and how it compares sound-wise to IRs, Sims and such.

Looking for lots of answers/experiences.

I have hybrid heating system in my house. What I mean by hybrid is that it’s all hot water heated but the ground floor is all underfloor heated, and the 1st floor is conventional radiators.

My problem is that the ground floor gets lovely and warm but the upstairs is always cold.

Each room downstairs has an independent thermostat, and there is a free standing thermostat too. If this freestanding thermostat os down stairs it keeps down stairs warm and upstairs cool. If I take the thermostat upstairs it gets the upstairs warm and the down stairs incredibly hot ( the floor is painful to stand still on).

From what I can tell the room thermostats downstairs are not controlling the underfloor heating at all as even if they are set to a target of (eg) 20 c the actual room temp will just keep on rising.

There is a big manifold routing all the heating pipes, but I have no idea how to use it.

My question is, how do I achieve a balanced whole house temp with this system?

I hope someone has some experience that can help?

We should either have full-online or full-in-person classes. It is so wrong to force us to have to relocate to Ottawa just for 1 or 2 classes in-person. This state of limbo is not good for our mental health. Next semester should be fully online as Carleton will realistically not be able to do full-in-person due to the microeconomic factors involved (E.g., forcing students to find housing in the middle of the winter, relocate, reallocate budgets, et cetera). Most students come from lower-middle-class or lower class backgrounds, and this is just terrible. I hope that full-in-person resumes for Fall 2022.

After GIOS, what is a good course choice, AOS or HPCA. Since, I have no hardware/architecture or computer organization background(coming from a non-CS undergrad) the course load can be insane or the worse a 'W' after investing some weeks .

So, I am considering AOS as a good supplement to give a nice closure to GIOS learnings, since it aligns with GIOS, but don't know how doable is HPCA, as it appears I may not have the necessary pre-reqs met. Down the lane, I am considering IHPC too( after GA) if that means something.

So, in overall how does GIOS-> AOS->GA->IHPC sound like ( no HPCA).

Subaru crosstreck hybrid can’t be use in electric mode only. I currently do only small compute and battery always charged. The issue is I think the auxiliary battery doesn’t charge and got stuck not able to start the car while the hybrid battery was full. Upsetting. Does anyone have the issue?

Why are Canadians so opposed to an out of pocket pay-for-service model for those who can afford it and a universal, tax-funded system for those who can't?

I am interested in whether the offspring of those who took the bioweapon will have the same graphene oxide nanoparticles that their AI/hybrid parents have--anyone know?
