A list of puns related to "House Husbands"
Iβm worried heβs putting up walls
I told her that sounded like a lot.
He opened the freezer, pulled our some Egos and said "I'm gonna have Waffle Apartment. Haha! Get it? Waffle. Apartment."
I couldn't help but laugh as our two year old gave a courtesy laugh.
One day a loving husband and father of 2 sons comes home, one of the sons asks him to come upstairs, so he comes upstairs and his son saysβdad, im gayβ the father, surprised says βwell, okay, i still support you sonβ.
The next day the father comes home to his other son asking him to come upstairs, he goes and the son also comes out as gay, the loving father says βboth you and your brother, i wont have any kids, but, i still support youβ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........
The father then walks down stairs to go and play with the family dog(male) and finds him in the backyard humping the neighbors(also male) dog. The father walks back into the house and exclaims
βDoes anyone in this house like womenβ.
His wife taps him on the sholder
A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a 'handy-woman' and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"Well, you can paint my porch," he said, "how much will you charge me?"
The blonde, after looking about, responded, "How about $50?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint and other materials that she might need were in the garage.
The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, "Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?"
The man replied, "She should; she was standing on it. Do you think she's dumb?"
"No", replied the wife. "I guess I'm guilty of being influenced by all those 'dumb blonde' jokes."
A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" the husband asked.
"Yes," the blonde replied, "and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats."
Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50.00 and handed it to her.
"And by the way," the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."
I replied, "No, I don't hate your relatives. In fact, I like your mother-in-law a lot better than I like mine."
One day, a man went to Juan's house looking to hire him for a week.
His wife answered the door.
"Sure..." his wife said. "It will cost you $500."
"That much?"
"But you're getting my husband and his otter. They bring up more clams than anyone else in town."
"I just want Juan. I'll hire him alone for $350." the man countered.
"Sorry..." she shrugged. "You can't have Juan without the otter."
She asked the pastor of a local church if he knew of any houses with rooms to rent that were close to town, but out in the country. The pastor kindly drove her out to see a house with a room to rent. She loved the house and decided to rent the room. Then, the lady returned to her home in England to make her final preparations to move to Switzerland.
When she arrived back home, the thought occurred to her that she had not seen a βW.C.β in the room or even down the hall. (A W.C. is short for βwater closetβ and is what the English call a toilet.) So she immediately emailed the pastor to ask him where the βW.C.β is located.
The Swiss pastor had never heard of a βW.C.,β and so he Googled the abbreviation and found an article titled βWayside Chapels.β Thinking that the English lady was asking about a country church to attend near her new home, the pastor responded as follows:
Ms. Smith,
I look forward to your move. Regarding your question about the location of the W.C., the closest W.C. is situated only two miles from the room you have rented, in the center of a beautiful grove of pine trees. The W.C. has aΒ maximum occupancy of 229 people, but not that many people usually go on weekdays. I suggest youΒ plan to go on Thursday evenings when there is a sing-along. The acoustics are remarkable and the happy sounds of so many people echo throughout the W.C.
Sunday mornings are extremely crowded. The locals tend to arrive early and many bring their lunches to make a day of it. Those who arrive just in time can usually be squeezed into the W.C. before things start, but not always. Best to go early if you can!
It may interest you to know that my own daughter was married in the W.C. and it was there that she met her husband. I remember how everyone crowded in to sit close to the bride and groom. There were two people to a seat ordinarily occupied by one, but our friends and family were happy to share. Β I will admit that my wife and I felt particularly relieved when it was over. We were truly wiped out.
Because of my responsibilities in town, I canβt go as often as I used to. In fact, I havenβt been in well over a year. I can tell you I really miss regularly going to the W.C. Letβs plan on going together for your first visit. I can reserve us seats where you will be seen by all.
Sincerely,
Pastor Kurt Meier
Honey," said this husband to his wife, "I invited a friend home for supper."
"What? Are you crazy? The house is a mess, I haven't been shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and I don't feel like cooking a fancy meal!"
"I know all that."
"Then why did you invite a friend for supper?"
"Because the poor fool's thinking about getting married."
... to find a jam container sitting on the front step. She enters the house and asks her husband why he put it there. He says, βwhen you left you asked me to leave the door ajar.β
The domineering wife thought the house needed a cantilevered balcony while the husband thought that it would ruin the aesthetic of the design. She told him he was an idiot and to keep his mouth shut. His friends hated to see her treat him so badly.
They always said βWhy cantilever?β
We had a cleaning service come to the house today, called Two Maids and a Mop. Well, three maids showed up and my dumb husband goes, βwhich one of you is the mop?β
Both of them are working, but the husband never did house chores and left it all to the wife. It's also the wife who dealt with everything about their children.
One day the wife can't take it anymore and lashed out.
Wife: "I'm tired with work too you know? Why don't you try putting yourself in my shoes?"
Husband: "I can't. Your shoes are too small."
So a horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks if he wants a beer. The horse goes "neigh." So the bartender kicks him out for wasting space, and on top of it, horsing around. 30 minutes later, a donkey comes in, orders the most expensive drink and a round for the house. When it comes time to pay the tab, the donkey says, "oh, by the way, you kicked out my husband, a horse, earlier," then walks out without paying. The bartender was upset, but knew he'd serve the occasional horse's ass.
We were driving to a friend's house for "game day". We live in Phoenix...we have flora that doesn't like living..because..it is Phoenix. As we were driving, we passed a huge palm tree on its last root (leg) of life in the median of the road. It is literally being held up by a few 2x4's. I look at my husband with the saddest look I can muster before I say "Babe, did you see that poor palm?". Husband says, "Oh yea, that big, dead-looking ones with the boards?". I respond, "Yea, sweetie, we should say a prayer. The poor thing is on LEAF support". He was not amused...I, however, giggle every other Saturday when we pass the tree to game day. Also, please don't worry about the tree. Now that Phoenix has made it through a hot summer, I bet after winter it will just spring back to life...assuming it doesn't fall. Lastly, sorry I'm not a dad or no actually dad said it...but I was channeling that inner dad when it happened! If I need to move this post it is okay!
I hope momjokes are welcome
When I was a teenager my aunt and her husband had to have their house fumigated and needed a place to stay for a weekend. My parents offered them my room and arranged a sleepover for me at my nephew's. As I was leaving the house I cheekily turn back and say to them : don't do anything in there I wouldn't do!
To which my mom promptly replied : honey, they're not going to clean your room
Husband: Where are we going to put it? Me: In the house. Husband: Where in the house? Me: On the floor.
Then I gave him a super cheesy grin and a thumbs up.
So I'm over at my cousin's house and her husband hits me with this:
If you have cheese but no crackers, are you crack 'a' lackin'
Our son came running into the house, and breathlessly asked, "when are we going to replace those stairs?"
Husband asks him, "why would we replace the stairs?"
Meanwhile, I'm trying to consider all the possible ways a kid could manage to damage a concrete stoop.
Son says, "I don't trust them, they're always up to something."
Without missing a beat, husband responds with, "they've been supporting you your entire life, I think they've earned your trust by now."
Better luck next time, young Grasshopper.
My husband was walking around the house picking things up while I watched the kids. He stopped by a ledge in our living room and said, "Why is your cup on the edge?" I said, "I don't know, I guess it's had a long day." He walked away rolling his eyes and said, "That was the worst. You'll never top that."
I'm selling my ranch style home and a couple came for a showing today.
Me: so do you like the house?
Husband: yes we like having everything on the same level.
Me: easy, medium, or hard?
Couple: momentary puzzled looks followed by simultaneous eye rolls.
Me: ear to ear shit grin.
He's 4 years old and walked into the kitchen while I was at my aunt and uncle's house. My aunt saw him and got slightly irritated because this was a problem she thought he had gotten over. She goes to talk to her husband about it:
Aunt: Keegan had another accident honey.
Uncle: Oh did he now?
Aunt: Yes. And I'm making dinner, so can you please deal with this? (at this point she is still pretty ticked off)
Uncle: oh I'll deal with it. Keegan come here.
Keegan walks over
Uncle: Urine a lot of trouble mister. Can't you pee that you're pissing your mother off?
My uncle proceeded to laugh uncontrollably at his own joke while my four year old cousin stood there looking really confused and my aunt walked away with her arms crossed, angrily trying to hold back her laughter.
I went over to my friend's house, as we're planning a weekend of camping in funny clothes, and thereβs still some sewing left to do.
Her: Do you know if your mom knows how to sew gussets? Me: I can only GUSSET my mom's skills with sewing.
I laughed, her husband laughed. She and the children groaned.
My aunt was looking around our house at the christmas decorations and says to her husband "Oh, we have to decorate, Ron" He looked up at her baffled "Why do we have to decorate me?"
We're coming out of a restaurant after dinner and it's a little brisk out.
My husband: "It's cold out here!"
Me: "Where's your jacket?"
Husband: "I left it at home."
His dad: "He's keeping the house warm while you're gone."
My husband to my daughter not five minutes ago.
I went to buy some house paints the other day... I had a mixture of emulsions.
Somebody, please help me.
On our drive home, we passed a pet store that opened up in a location that had housed at least 3 failed pizzerias. My husband said "They must make terrible pizza there" I replied "that's because they are making petza"
He pretended to be knocked unconscious. I don't think he appreciated my joke.
