A list of puns related to "Hell's Kitchen (American season 17)"
Looking back, I can understand why this season is one of the most hated. It could have been good, but it turned out to be terrible.
I have two issues with this season: entertainment value (rather a lack thereof) and toxicity. If you've read my reviews on the two seasons I ranked below this one, these were the exact issues that came up. While Season 15 may be one of the more boring seasons to watch, it is not 22 episodes of mostly filler, and the toxicity comes almost entirely from two contestants as opposed to an entire team's worth of contestants.
There is not really much for me to write about the bottom 6 ranking contestants in this season, although mid-service ejections are always entertaining to watch. However, I don't think any contestant has been done dirtier than Kevin; sure, he was greatly holding the service back, but he didn't even get an exit interview nor did we get to see him leaving the Hell's Kitchen building.
One thing that will continue to bug me for as long as I am interested in Hell's Kitchen is the mystery of some of the rankings. Eddie may have had a poor performance on the garnish station in his final service, but some contestants were generally much worse than he was. He may not have been able to lead (at least not very well), but it's not like he was unable to follow, so why did Chef Ramsay tell him to get the hell out of the way? One person I wish made it farther in the competition was Hassan; if not for sending raw chicken on Sous Chef Andi's wedding night, maybe he had a chance at making it to black jackets. The least the show could do is replace the two toxic contestants from this season with Hassan and Eddie. Joe was a nice guy, but his performances were not very strong. Chad wasn't bad, but he seemed to be getting worse as the season went on. Dannie only stood out to me during her time on the blue team, and I can understand why people would lose respect for her considering she walked out on Ariel during the final service.
You thought I was just going to skip over Jackie and Frank? Nope. Jackie lasted way longer than she should have, with the reasons cited for her elimination applicable to possibly eliminating her every time she was nominated. She consistently took on an unprofessional attitude, naming the prep list literally as "The F**king List", attempting to use Ashley's breast implants against her, and, most infamously, dumping an ashtray on Kristin. How she got on the show in the first place given her l
... keep reading on reddit โกEliminations: My God. Where do I begin? I'm not going to be the person that says Michelle sabotaged people (though it can be argued), I'm going to state my opinions instead. So let me talk about what can be argued to be the dumbest elims that season.
Barbie: Yes, it can definitely be argued Barbie was on the downward spiral of death, but it can also be argued Michelle sabotaged her during her final service.
Van: He was eliminated for one mistake on salmon and for "being quiet and losing his voice," when he was arguably the 3rd most consistent chef up to that point.
NICK (ROBBED LEGEND): Where the actual fuck do I start? Even if you hate Nick, he was by far the most robbed contestant on that season, and maybe in the show's history. He was extremely consistent, had one mistake during the entirety of the dinner services, and was a phenomenal leader. Not to mention Ramsay himself stated that he was "the most improved chef since their original season." Both Benjamin and Michelle wanted to compete against him in the finale as well.
Moving on to Talent:
Have to admit, the talent in the BJs was quite good. Milly and Michelle weren't as good as their previous seasons though, and Robyn...was Robyn. Nick and Benjamin were arguably the most consistent chef of that particular season and the BJs of course. Though it can be argued Jennifer deserved a BJ over Robyn, who struggled heavily in the competition and was even the first BJ eliminated.
Moving onto the final post, this one I think may turn into a rant. Trigger warning is in progress.
The Finale: This may be the worst finale in HK history. Yes, I am serious. Let's dissect it.
Nick, Benjamin, and Michelle cook dishes for some select chefs. The one with the lowest score goes home. Suffice it to say, Nick got the lowest score. I think that the new final 3 challenge is one of the dumbest things to come out of these newer seasons. One, it doesn't take into account the chefs' leadership ability. And two, good chefs can be robbed of a spot in the finale, which is precisely what happened to Nick. Anyway, Michelle won the finale over Benjamin. I personally think this is dumb as Benjamin was way more consistent than her, but it doesn't matter, it's in the past. I forgot to mention, Nick effectively carried Michelle in the finale.
Anyways, that's my S17 review. I kinda had to get it off my chest. I'll probably do one for S12 next, and why Scott is one of the better winners in my opinion. Ciao. :)
I know i'm early, but why not? This episode is going to be very...interesting judging from what we saw in the preview last time.
Also, am I the only one who noticed that the narrator didn't get to say "And now, the continuation of Hell's Kitchen" in episode 2? What's up with that?
I watched a video essay on hellโs kitchen and iโm sick and have nothing better to do so, i started watching hells kitchen. i looked up where the best place to start was and i got recommended season four. All of this is just for context.
I get it, it was a long time ago and times have changed but in almost EVERY SINGLE CONFESSIONAL Jason has something so incredibly misogynistic to say about the red team. โthe only competition is lose to a girl is an ironing competitionโ *proceeds to lose to the girlsโ โwhat are the girls good for anyway? unless theyโre having a tupperware partyโ โof course the women have no clue what theyโre doing, they donโt have a man to lead them!โ
AND THIS IS ONLY IN THE FIRST 2 EPISODES!!
I know you all probably donโt care but i have no one who cares about this rant so i gotta get it out somewhere
sincerely, someone who hopes jason loses every competition he has to a girl
Was checking out Roku channel and they have 16 & 17 on there and it looks like it's uncensored as well in case anyone's interested โบ
I have been looking everywhere but just can't seem to find it
Hells Kitchen Season 20 is supposed to be the youngest Chefs yet in a Hells Kitchen season. Who else think that the Chefs in Hells Kitchen Season 20 looks like they're in there early 30's and not in there early 20's? They all look like they're not 23 and below. Maybe some look like 28 and above.
Just a bit weird in my opinion. No hate please.
What do you guys think?
It's just insane how few mistakes he made. It felt like Ramsey had to use up his entire quota of anger against a contestant at Nick for reading the tickets wrong because there was literally no other time when Ramsey could have yelled at him.
And unlike Season 14 when he could be mean, Nick was pretty nice and helped chemistry and he seemed to really help Robyn who seems to have bad anxiety issues or something.
I feel like his season 17 was better than most winner's winning seasons.
As with my other two rankings, this IS just my opinion
Trev/Jillian: easily the best two imo
Gail: I really liked Gail, I was disappointed when she left
Vinny: how was he not a black jacket again?
Rob/Boris: they were good guys, but were a bit clueless at times
Curtis: I liked him, I felt bad for him.
Nona/Melissa/Louis: meh, I'm 50-50 on them
Emily: I didn't really like her that much
Antonia: I felt bad she'll only be known for that awful dish
Lisa: who?
Raj: much as I hated him, I also felt bad for him because the way he was treated was downright HARSH at times
Sabrina: my God I hated her, but I did like how she stood up for Trev at the end
Russell: I mean do I really need to explain this...
Best reality tv ive ever watched not even joking

When two people are left, they of course, will do the restaurant overhaul to Hell's Kitchen to impress Gordon Ramsay, and they will go head to head with making a menu, and cooking it to feed hungry customers. Who does better under pressure, and who will win the grand prize?
Also, the chefs cannot harm Ramsay, otherwise, they are eliminated. They absolutely must cook their food, and try and compete with each other. No violence, otherwise, they are eliminated.
Just curious
As always, this is just my opinion
Heather/Keith: easily the best two imo
Garrett: I liked him but he could be a tool at times
Maribel: she was good, but leadership could use work
Rachel: she was ok imo, I was sad to learn she committed suicide
Giacomo: he was a good guy, but a bit clueless
Gabe: he had potential, but was an early boot
Larry: who? I often forget he was the first medical exit
Polly: eh, didn't really like her
Virginia: I know you may be surprised, but I did not like Virginia at all! She was SUPER whiny, couldn't cook(hence her 6 nominations), and I don't know HOW she made it to the finale
Tom: he was even WORSE of a whiner. I wasn't surprised he became Ramsay's punching bag of this season
Sara: SCREW HER SO MUCH! I hated how much of a COMPLETE douche she was, she couldn't cook, and she constantly fought with her team. How she made 4th is beyond me
I am still rooting for Nick, and I will continue to do so until the end, but in my opinion, here is the order I predict: 4. Milly : He had an aggressive outburst last episode, and while I was rooting for him early in the season, I am no longer doing that because Ramsay would not pick him to run a brigade with anger issues. 3. Benjamin: Benjamin can cook, but he has poor leadership skills, and as evidenced in the last episode, he keeps saying "Oui chef!" and he also seems like he is very passive and doesn't pay any attention to his teammates, so running the pass will likely be hard for him. 2. Michelle- While she may come very close to beating (or even surpassing) Nick, she may have a slightly weaker edge to her, which would prevent her from winning the competition in the end.
Now that I have shared my prediction of how the rest of the show will play out (these are not spoilers), please share with me your predictions for final 4 and winner.
Please keep in mind, this is just my opinion
Jon: I mean do I really need to explain why...
Cyndi/Ja'nel: they were good and I'm glad they made it far
Anthony: how was he not a black jacket again?
Amanda: I really liked Amanda, I was sad when she left
Ray: how could anyone hate him? He was a great guy and I liked how he stood up against Dan and he was definitely one of the more talented blue team members
Susan/Mary: they really grew on me over time. I liked them
Nedra/Zach: they were good but holy fuck they could be cocky
Michael/Barret: eh they were just ok
Danielle/Jacqueline: who? I often forget who they were
Jessica/Christian: eh, didn't really like them
Sebastian: he's a good guy but he's no Brian
Jeremy: he was such a tool, I hated him
Dan: absolutely hated him. He was such a Jerk, I guarantee if it wasn't for him, Mary would've won.
Gina: in her words what a fuckin' baby. I hated her
So I have a bit of a theory for the upcoming Hell's Kitchen Season...
Basically there is a new Hell's Kitchen restaurant opening at the Harrah's Resort in Southern California (near San Diego) in 2022. I'll link the website below.
https://harrahssocal.com/dining/hells-kitchen
So my theory is that wither it will take place at this brand new restaurant, or this will be the reward for the new winner. This would make sense as it taking place there would give a good start for the new restaurant, and the winner getting to be the head chef there would give the restaurant a head chef without having to go through the hiring process. When Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas opened it got a head chef that was a HK winner and eventually had the show filmed there. Same thing with the Lake Tahoe location except the show was never filmed there.
Tell me if you agree with my theory in the comments down below.
Who are the weakest chefs who've placed third in hell's kitchen. And if not these four, which four would you all put in the bottom of the bracket?
Alright, so that title may be just a tad bit misleading. When I say "Perfect Season" I mean someone who has NEVER hit the nominations. When i say this I mean you can't have even been nominated then had it voided like you just could never have been nominated. Now, If you think that means the list may be a bit bloated, well, you'd be right, cause it is. I'm counting every chef that hasn't been nominated and either, Left, Got taken out in CFYL or some similar cooking challenge, DQ'd, and all the sorts. But, if you got your nom voided or even if there were very bullshit nominations (Rochelle for instance) it still counts! So, there's gonna be a big list of people at the end that just don't count cause I didn't see nearly enough of them to have a good opinion. HOWEVER, there is still enough content to work with for an adequate ranking! Fair warning don't expect to see anyone from season 15 cause they are the ONLY season with no one avoiding nomination!
1 (Meghan S14 - Winner): So, first up is one of 3 season 14 reps... I mean, do I really need to explain this? Of course Meghan is at the top of this list it's MEGHAN. She's one of the few people on this list that legitimately DID have a perfect season of hell's kitchen. She had maybe one or two fuck ups but everyone else did as well and she immediately fixed it. Very great chef all around and obviously one of if not arguably the best to do it.
2. (Ariel S18 - Winner): Now, while Ariel from season 6 had two nominations near the end in her return on season 18 she blew her season 6 performance out of the fuckin water and put up an amazing run during all of her challenges and dinner services and being just as flawless as the other one before her. Awesome season for her, first among the 3 season 18 reps and 2nd overall!
3. (Dave S6 - Winner): Again, this needn't much explanation. One of a whopping 5 season 6 reps here he was very consistent and the one armed bandit stayed on top of his game constantly proving his skills even WITH one hand. One of the best winners and again one of the few people who can claim they truly had a perfect season. Though not as good as ariel and meghan on their winning seasons I still think he deserves 3rd here and I fear this is where the really perfect seasons list ends!
4. (Will S9 - Runner Up): One of two season 9 reps Will was easily I think the best runner-up out of everyone and had he won the season he was in he'd give meghan a run for her money honestly. The reason why he
Yaโll Van is DOMINATING this one with 85%, so lets get some votes going for the second best simply because Van has already won this one lmao
And I 100% agree that Van is the strongest one
Iโve never really cooked anything besides basic stuff and I canโt wait to start a new hobby
Hey guys. So it's been a while since I last posted here and I'm pretty sure some of you are wondering what's been going on and when I'll be updating my season again. To put simply, school and other projects took my focus away from my season and during this time, I've been doing some thinking regarding Hell's Kitchen Season 21 and with me set to turn twenty-one myself in a few days, I think now's as good a time as any to make it official.
I will no longer be updating Hell's Kitchen Season 21. Instead, I will be rewriting the entire season. Why is this you may ask? Well, when I started, I just decided to go guns and blazing and do whatever I liked. Recent experiences however have helped me grow as a writer and as such, I feel like what I've written in here is inconsistent to some of the things I do now. As such, I want it to represent my improvement since I started this fanfic several months back.
The second reason is because I feel like, while there's a lot I was happy (Penelope's development and relationship with Jack, Elizabeth's status as main antagonist and Frank rise to power on the red team), I feel like I could have done more for other characters like Mark, Val, Gianna and Zachary. The first of which was supposed to be a frontrunner, but hadn't really done much other than good challenge performances. A great ensemble group gives everyone something to do and that's something I don't think this always did that. It doesn't help that Reddit forces you to condense everything into 40,000 words.
As such, this leads to my second announcement, I will likely not be posting the revised version on here. Instead, I'll be posting on Archive of our Own as I believe it's the best place to post fanfiction in general. However, just because I don't want to leave any of you disappointed, allow me to give a brief synopsis of what became of the final nine.
9th: Melissa (Yes, this was the big shock of the season. Melissa had stepped up her game after her sabotage attempt in Episode 5, especially in challenges. However, she also showed a lack of communication at times, especially in the last episode I wrote. This would be further exposed in her elimination episode, although Elizabeth would play the biggest part in her team being put up for elimination.)
8th: Troy (This would have been the charity episode and the one where Troy was at his worst. He'd shit the bed during service, being absolutely terrible in not just following directions, but also in leadership and commu
... keep reading on reddit โกI think itโs partly nostalgia since it was the first season I watched but season 6 os the best season of the show IMHO
Sorry, this isn't really a fully formulated idea. But I've been mulling it over since the start of the pandemic. Not really doing anything with or about it. So, with nothing to lose, and no intention to gain anything, I give you r/SpringRideDay.
Idea is for an informal celebration of our love of bikes, through one (hopefully) decent day to ride worldwide.
The question is up there lads
This is based on entertainment value. Seasons with the least talent are still least entertaining, but season 17 would be in fucking s tier if this was talent based
S tier: 6, 14, 9, 13
A tier: 10, 5, 12, 7
B tier: 17
C tier: 18, 3, 4
D tier: 1, 15
F tier: 16, 2, 8, 11
Iโm talking about all black jackets who placed either 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th on their season competing again!
Personally I would love to see Mary (S.11) Tommy (S.9) Cody (S.19) Rochelle (S.12) Sade (S.13) compete again! Any others? Thoughts?
