A list of puns related to "Guadalupe (name)"
My Mexican wife anecdotally estimates that the name in Mexico is about 65% female and 35% male. In turn, the Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE) shows over 20,000 women in Spain with the name, but only 42 men with it.
Found a missing wallet next to the CVS on Guadalupe st belonging to an individual named Mihir. Last name begins with the letter A. If it belongs to you, DM me
Update: Wallet has been returned
I don't know if it kind of counts as lost media but there's Mexican tv series called "La Rosa de Guadalupe" its the most successful tv series, it has aired in the Americas, Poland, Africa, and in the Philippines for a period of time. this series had been dubbed in English (most of the episodes are from 2009-2011) but unfortunately there is no full episodes on the web, even though it only aired on the Philippines in the Telenovela channel from 2017-2018 some African channels like Citizen TV, and StarTimes TV from 2015-2017 or 18, unfortunately it was never aired in the United States but it is currently airing on the TLnovelas channel in Africa but yet there's none on the internet. however, there were videos on YouTube but were deleted along with the channel that uploaded the videos. the only videos of the the English dubbed are promos:

I hope in the near future the English dubbed episodes will be found or maybe air in the United States (in English) soon
I blew it and booked too late to eat at Deckmans's en el Mogor & Frida Rustic Kitchen, so I'm curious to what other spots yall would recommend for Dinner at Valle de Guadalupe?
Hey everyone! I looove the name Guadalupe and the nickname Lupe, but as a white female I wouldn't want to culturally appropriate a name when I have kids in the future. Is this a name that would be definitely not ok for a white child, and if so are there similar-feeling names I could go for?
Not pregnant or trying, just thinking up names for the future and want to be culturally respectful.
The episode I'm looking for is the one where a group of where like 5 girls make a website that exposes predators, and eventually they falsely accuse a man of being one, and he commits suicide. This then causes his fiance to go on a murder spree of the girls, taking videos of their deaths and sending them to the other girls. At the end of the episode just as the last girl is about to die after being kidnapped and thrown into a white van, the police break in and arrest the fiance.
I could probably recount the entire episode because I know what happens but I can't for the life of me remember the name.
I am visiting Valle de Guadalupe in two weeks and would love recommendations for wineries. Me and my group of friends are avid wine drinkers. Open to trying places that are new (less reviewed)!
I feel there should be an our lady of Guadalupe event In the game after Spain conquers Mexico City which spawns a Catholic center of religion which converts Mexico to Catholicism
She started out with a sore throat on Christmas Eve and on Christmas evening, her blood sugar dropped so low she was disoriented and unresponsive. Paramedics gave her sugars and she snapped out of whatever delirium she was in. They didnβt want to take her to the hospital because although she was presumptive for COVID-19, they didnβt want to risk exposing her if she wasnβt positive.
In the early hours of the 26th, my birthday, she was hospitalized. She was stable and her vitals were fine, apart from her cough.
I called her this morning at around 9 am. I havenβt been able to sleep or eat without speaking to her. She told me she was feeling much better this morning, but her cough was awful. After hearing her voice and hearing her say she was okay, I fell back to sleep, a normal routine I have fallen into the past few days.
I woke up to a phone call an hour later that she had a cardiac arrest and was revived and intubated, on a ventilator. The doctor let me know that given her age, previous conditions, and weak heart, she is expecting another cardiac arrest and doesnβt believe she will pull through. Now Iβm only waiting on more bad news and thereβs nothing I can do but wait. Wait for them to tell me that she is no longer in pain, though Iβm praying and hoping that the phone call I get will tell me she miraculously pulls through. Because although Iβve read all the real horror stories, Iβve read the miracle stories too.
My grandmother stayed home since March. She lives with relatives who work low-paying jobs to make ends meet. She was exposed accidentally through them. They didnβt party, they didnβt travel, they needed to pay bills.
My grandmother is not another statistic, no matter what unempathetic hoaxers or anti-vaxxers want to believe. She is not worth less as a human because of her age, race, or socioeconomic status. She wasnβt irresponsible. She made face masks in her free time to give to friends and family. She got her flu shot.
My grandmother is a person with family who loves her, family that is in agony because we canβt be there with her. Family that is in agony because we canβt hug each other for comfort.
My grandmotherβs name is Obdulia. An immigrant from Mexico who worked as a seamstress for Speedos to support her family. She loves her parrots and cats and telenovelas and embroidery. She loves to go to the casino and play on slot machines, she has amazing luck on those things. She was waiting for the pandemic to be over to make a trip to
