Hi folks, I'm looking to pass along my Wonder Woman collection to a new home. I have:
The first Greg Rucka (pre-New 52) WW run (trades 1-5, Hiketeia OGN)- $50 USD (these have some light shelf/reading wear and one volume is a former library copy)
The second Greg Rucka (Rebirth) WW run (trades 1-2 (aka Year One); singles 13-25, plus Annual 1 - $60 USD
WW Earth One by Grant Morrison vol. 1 and 2 - $25 USD
Convergence WW 1-2/New 52: Futures End WW #1 (lenticular cover)/WW: Steve Trevor Special 1 - $10 USD
Or save some money and get them all for $120 USD!
P.S. I'm also looking to pass along my nearly complete Red Hood and the Outlaws Rebirth era run:
Red Hood & Outlaws Rebirth TPB 1 (Rebirth special, 1-6); single issues 7-25 + Annual 1; TPB 1 of Red Hood: Outlaw (26-31, Annual 2); single issues 37-50 - $50
I wanna know if I can just start with G. Willow Winslowβs run since itβs a Vol. 1 or if I should continue reading where I left off.
β Spoilers ahead: at the end when diana met the old lady/goddess at this cave-like place to talk, the old lady was a themyscirian warrior in the reflection of the water. What does that mean exactly? Who is she? Will that get explained in the next volume? Also, Diana's anger completely eased off as soon as she got her lasso back. Why was that exactly and why was she so relived? Did she get a new lasso or did she get the original back? If she got the original back then what bounds Phobos and Deimos? Did they just get trapped in the prison like ares?
There's another thing, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be like this or it was a printing problem but you know the couple of pages where diana ties Phobos and Deimos, Veronica says goodbye to izzy etc, yeah well after a couple of pages the exact same pages of diana tying Phobos and Deimos are shown like 3 times in a row. What's supposed to be the meaning of that? Or is that just a printing problem?
I would appreciate the answers :) please don't spoil vol 4 I haven't reached it yet.
I just read it on ComiXology and loved it
I just finished Greg Ruckaβs Pre-New 52 Run and was wondering what to read next?
I believe it leads into Dianaβs part in Infinite Crisis, but Iβm reluctant to read it because it seems confusing and I donβt have much Pre-New 52 knowledge and I havenβt read Crisis on Infinite Earths.
I want to carry on with Dianaβs story and also see where the other plot lines go, like Veronica Cale, Circe and Cheetah.
Appreciate any help :)
The title page of Compass #1 says "Greg Rucka presents" Compass, but Rucka's name isn't anywhere in the masthead or creative team. Mackenzie, Walker, and Greenwood are credited with creating it and have the copyright. So what is Rucka's role here? Is it just to attach some additional name recognition to the book?
After reading a post on here about the need for more engaging posts I thought I would post a question to the group. Greg Rucka is often touted as one of the greatest Wonder Woman writers of all time. With two iconic and separate belts under his belt he sits in a somewhat unique place in the comics world, being able to be compared to himself with two distinct runs on a singular character. So my question is: which WW run do you prefer and please explain why?
Hey all!

New here! I usually sell/buy on mangaswap, not to much of a comics fan but since i joined this group maybe itβll grow on me π
I have Volume 1 of Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka I took these yesterday, so i can redo a timestamp for today if youβd like. Bought this at the store about a year ago and itβs just been sitting on my bookcase, never read.. give it a home! $26 shipped
I have Volume 1. Is the rest of the series worth checking out?
Any good? I know it's notorious for its delays.
The way they ended the series... what was Rucka trying to say about Elektra? I didnβt get why heβd do ALLLLL that character progression only to have her just kill the (somewhat) innocent guy at the end.
Michael Lark and Greg Rucka (Lazarus, Gotham Central, lots of other comics and things) will be doing an AMA on 17 April, beginning at 09:00 Pacific time. Ask anything, and hopefully we'll have answers that satisfy to the best of our ability.
And it's now 16:06 Pacific time, and that's all from Michael and myself. Thank you for all the questions and kind words.
Hey folks.
Iβm about to start reading Ruckaβs Q&C and I know that the novella Private Wars continues the story after the comic ends.
Does it take place before or after the Declassified miniseries? And where do the other two novels fit in?
Thanks!
Looking for the above for a reasonable price.
