A list of puns related to "Green Day discography"
Seriously, if you're a Muse fan at all I recommend checking out the videos of the Shepherd's Bush concert the other night. Full of Muse fans gathered in collective delight at all these rarely-heard songs being belted out live for the first time in years. The band was having the time of their lives too. I know a lot of people here have been a little disappointed in GD's setlists this tour, and I think for that crowd it'd be amazing if they did a few smaller shows on the side like this. Probably too busy this tour but maybe they can try something like this in their initial club/small venue tour next album?
Thoughts?
^edit: ^just ^noticed ^I ^fucked ^up ^the ^title. ^to ^play ^god ^fucking ^damn ^it.
I saw the recent thread about having a discord channel that shuffles green day music 24/7 and I could host that. However, I will need you help. Please take music files you have and upload them to their respective folders on this drive link. Make sure all files are properly named as what song they are (not a random string of numbers like they sometimes are) and don't upload a song that someone else already did. If you dudes can help with this then i can host it. EDIT: REMOVING MAIN LINK
EDIT: Everything has been added, link is removed
Albums
I know Sweet Children is an EP, and is connected to Kerplunk on some releases, but I keep them separate because I prefer Kerplunk in it's twelve track original form.
B Sides (or Shenanigans 2)
Disc 1: All original B-sides
Disc 2: All cover B-sides
Bootlegged songs which don't appear on any other release
206 songs in total. If anyone has any corrections or suggestions, please let me know. But I think this collection is complete. :)
I've not properly Listened To Oasis' Entire Discography so why not start now?
I'll go through track by track, documenting my journey. I'm not a professional music critic, I Just enjoy some tunes now and again.
Important Note, When I Say "Best" I Mean "My Favourite"
Great Tune. We've all heard, most of us love it. A Bit basic, but still great. 8.5/10
Good Song, not really single Material In my opinion though. Love the bit about Sifter's. 7.5/10
Highlight of the album. Love the Chorus, Guitar Solo and the Outro. Incredible and Beautiful Song. 9.5/10
First track I went into basically blind. I've heard this song Once before. Sounds A Lot like The Beatles' "Rain". Good Lyrics. Catchy-ish Guitar. Wouldn't put the CD on just to hear the song though. 8/10
Overrated. There, I Said It. Still A Good Song. Just a bit Boring and Drags on far too long. 6/10
Great Tune. What a Debut Single. Really Great Guitars and Catchy Hook. 9/10
I immediately Fell in love with this one. It Feels so Oasis-y. 9/10
Here we have My favourite T. Rex song. Positive (-ish?) Message about making the most of what you've got. Probably my least favourite single though. Still 7/10
Liam Says Lasagna. 8/10
Brilliant. Sounds so oddly Positive. Best Non-Single Track. It's very "Joyous" 9/10
No other song could finish this album. Plain Funny. This'd be a great "Alternative wedding song". 8.5/10
Overall:
9/10. This is Such a Great First Album. It's Almost Pure Brilliance. Thy really hit the nail on the head with the next album though. The review of that'll be coming sometime in the next week. See you then, presumably.
Do you people not know what an Opinion is?
Good morning girls, gays, theys, and assorted straight allies!
After technical difficulties prevented me from getting a form up yesterday, we are back for out next elimination: Breath Strokes. Balladphobia striking again, but ultimately a fair elimination. I'm pretty doubtful we'll lose another TOKiMONSTA song for a little while though.

So I discovered dead kennedys after watching the green room, played their first album on Spotify and my world changed. I have never been introduced to punk music and dead kennedys resonate with me more than any music I've heard before. I listened to their whole discography on a road trip and was stoked the whole 4 hours. Now I've been listening to their albums over and over and my question is : where to next?
Dead kennedys remind me of king gizzard who I've been a fan of for years now and I like the more melodic and experimental qualities they both have
Any suggestions?
Iβm new to frank ocean and have just finished listening through both of the previously stated albums after falling in love with Blonde and channel ORANGE. I absolutely loved both endless and Nostalgia ultra and I wish they were on Spotify. Is there any particular reason he has never officially released them?
Ok so hear me out, the thing that got me extremely intrigued about is that I myself have Seungkwan as my bias and utt, with Wonwoo and Joshua as my bias wreckers. But actually after thinking about it, my favorite unit is actually the Performance unit.
I seriously love all the songs and stages from performance unit, they are always so unique and fun to listen and watch. Not that the other units's songs are bad, of course, but I always find myself enjoying performance unit's songs in the albums the most, aside from the titletracks.
Also, if I had to pick my all time favorite song from SVT out of their entire discography (yeah I know it's hard af xD) I would pick 247, which also happens to be from the perf team hahah. This song just got me hooked the moment I first listened to it and it almost never left my daily playlist since. The ironic part is that when I first listened to it back in 2019 I wasn't all that into SVT yet (just a casual listener), and I srsly thought the song was from the Vocal unit lol
So I was wondering if anyone else have similar pattern as me? hahah I mean, normally in kpop groups I always just naturally gravitate more towards the songs that have my bias(es) in, but SVT srsly has an different impact in me, but in a good way xD
You can state your Top 10 SKZ recommendation here or any number you want. You can also share your thoughts and reasons why you recommended that song to them like itβs a different genre and gives different vibes, etc.
Godβs Menu - I always recommend the MV one because the visuals and the whole MV fits well to the music and I think it also adds to the flavor of the music. Listening also to this on Spotify while using my average earphones in loud speaker makes me to finish my assessments so fast. It makes me hype and excited. Also, if my IRL friend asked me to recommend SKZ music, I always recommend it first because it leaves a good impression to them and itβs really one of those music that youβll know that itβs certainly their sound.
Neverending Story & 24 to 25- These 2 music showcases their vocals. A good introduction that SKZ have good vocals. I watch some tiktok videos before and whenever I saw a ranking, I always see SKZ in the lowest part. No offense to other groups stan but I think SKZ really have diverse and unique tones from each other but it blends well? I donβt know how to term them correctly, please correct me. Itβs just that some listeners probably listened to their TT only without listening to the B-sides which is understandable but I want everyone to know that SKZ have really insane vocals and they are good in singing live.
Domino & Maze of Memories - I really love the rap parts here. Aye domino & I wanna look back to the future in factβ¦
Back Door - When I recommended this song to my cousin and sister, they told me that they liked it and the bass part here is so addictable.
Hello Stranger & Slump - I do think that those who likes rock prefers listening to this. Hello Stranger deserves more recognition and Slump really made me to stan SKZ real hard considering the lyrics fits well to whatβs happening to my personal life and them singing to One Take is #1 for me.
Insomnia - I have really soft spot here and I think this song fits to midnight playlist. This is just so good and I think majority of people will like this.
Miroh & Victory Song - these 2 are good for those who want to get hyped while exercising.
Another Day, Levanter, Sunshine, Grow Up, & Starlost - Comfort.
Phobia - The Great Bridge of Phobia.
Thunderous, Side Effects, and District 9 - EDM that also gets me energized.
I would love to read your recommendation SKZ music / playlist as well as your thoughts. Have a ni
... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't listen to Green Day or even punk/pop punk that much anymore but I keep coming back to it every once in a while. I'm aware that there's a common belief that sticks with pop punk that it's just the "same 3 chords" and "na na na"s or just silly teeny whining. I think Green Day stands out in a subtle way.
The thought occurred to me when I came across Hitchin' A Ride on shuffle today. And apparently, it's not just nostalgia. I still love it. The lyrics are a witty and fun way to sing about alcoholism and sobriety, it's not some "I was skating the other day, I felt sad" kinda thing that non-fans would assume Green Day is singing about. Not that there's anything wrong with those kinda lyrics but I love how Green Day keeps their music fresh.
Another song I keep coming back to is Misery, which I think is quite overlooked. The whole album is overlooked. It's probably one of their most experimental songs with the mariachi instrumentation and all that. The vague storytelling in the lyrics is really cool as well. For me, it's open to interpretation and quite trippy.
Anyway, I had the urge to let these thoughts out, I hope I could articulate them well. All in all, I think Green Day doesn't get enough credit from the music community for being such a versatile band and it's sad that the depths of their catalogue is often overlooked.
I love the older Green Day music but there's something about American Idiot that makes my skin crawl. It's like the most generic pop "punk" song and whatever it comes on at a bar, everyone sings along like it's the greatest song. I hate it.
Edit: thanks for the gold! I think I figured out why I hate it.... It's like a popular church youth group song they would all sing while thinking they're edgy.
Acquiring every full length, every 7β, every CD, and all the variations of each has been my goal since I first discovered the band in 2016, and Iβm now one vinyl away from that goal!
The Thrill of the Arts black vinyl reissue from 2017 (VULF2015R1) is what I need. If youβre one of the 1,400+ that purchased from Qrates back in 2017 Iβd love to talk to you about a purchase or trade! Iβd like to avoid the insane resale prices currently on Discogs if possible ;) Thanks!
One of the biggest reasons I consider myself a multi is because there exists not even one group or soloist who releases songs that I'll love every comeback. I kinda just stream songs from multiple groups and pick out what I like. I consider myself a fan of any group/soloist I consistently listen to, but everyone falls into a 70%-80% or less like rate. I did use to like 90%+ of what one gg produced, but to be fair, they didn't have a lot of songs before, and in recent years, I haven't really been feeling them, so now they're included in that β€ 80% group.
This like rate is generally true for me with both K-pop and with western artists. I can only think of one western artist who might meet the 90% threshold.
I thought I'd find someone who felt the same as me on a post that inspired this post, but it looks like I might be the odd one out or at least part of a very small minority. Unless more people here agree with me???
Took awhile but finally I can start averaging up
