A list of puns related to "Gorontalo people"
This post will be another in a series of posts about the Philippines and Indonesia. The first post was How Indonesia and the Philippines Define and Organize Ethnicity. This post is more geopolitical and economic-focused.
The purpose of this post is to examine how the Indonesian elite, political and economic, see the Philippines, and the impact of Indonesia's new capital on the Philippines. Here is a map with the location of the new capital, and a post explaining why Indonesia is moving its capital, Indonesiaβs New Capital: New Nusantarian Era?

There are four main points of this post are:
Since the fall of Suharto in 1998, there has been an intensification of Indonesian activity in the Indonesian provinces adjacent to the Philippines. As explained in [Indonesiaβs New Capital: New Nusantarian Era?](https://www.reddit.com/r/IntlScholars/comments/
... keep reading on reddit β‘I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Hi everyone. I'm new here. And I've only been using Reddit for less than a year and recently found out there's a SubReddit for Indonesian, so I am really excited. I am a French guy currently living in Washington, England. My father was English-French and my mother was mixed Dutch-French-Minahasan. Her father was Indonesian and her mother was Dutch-French.
So here's the thing. I only found out about my Indonesian heritage in my early 20s. My mother had never spoken of it and I had never suspected that we were more than just white, because honestly she looked pretty white to me. She passed away two years ago but fortunately she had already revealed some of her past to us and it honestly helped shed some light on our Indonesian heritage. My older brother and twin brother aren't really interested in finding out more. I understand they have a family to take care of and have too much on their plates right now to deal with anything else. On the other hand, since I found out about my mother's past, and in turn, my maternal lineage, I've been really fascinated with everything about Indonesia. Been doing a lot of research online and meeting Indonesian expatriates living here to help me draw a clear picture of what it's all about.
My mother didn't know much about her father because he disappeared when she was 4 or 5. She believed he was only in his early 20s when he disappeared in 1965, after which my grandmother decided to return home to Cherbourg along with her children out of fear for their safety.
During my research, I found some valuable information. My grandfather was a member of The Indonesian Communist Party in Manado. After the 30 September coup, he was taken away to Gorontalo and then Makassar, where I lost track of him. Somebody suggested that I need to visit Indonesia to find more information on my grandfather should I wish to proceed with finding the truth about his whereabouts. There is a tiny little hope that he might still be alive somewhere in Sulawesi (maybe Makassar or even Manado) now an elderly man. If he's not, I think it's my duty as his grandson to discover his remain and give him a proper burial to come full circle with my heritage and also to give some late closure to my mother, may she rest in peace, because she had been robbed of her childhood and a loving father which she and her siblings had deserved.
I'm neither trying to prod old wounds nor bringing forth a political agenda here. I sincerely just want to discover the truth about my

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
