With both books, she liked the settting in the American South and the themes of race, equality, family and love, and the feelgood element. She has a preference for something with a lesbian theme but it's not essential.

Looking for recommendations for a place to eat dinner on Saturday that has good fried green tomatoes. Some place to sit down for a full meal and a couple of drinks, not fast food or a food truck (nothing against those, this is just not that occasion).
