Hey peeps! Just found this sub and I LOVE this kind of stuff. So glad you guys are here! Just wanted to say hi and include a link to one of my favorite lost and reconstructed buildings; I'm sure a lot of you may know this one and I may be reposting because it is a famous building, but the Dresden Frauenkirche has an amazing story from its history to the destruction and what the witnesses reported, and the people world wide who mailed in their wedding photos of the church so that when it was reconstructed, even the carvings on the doors would be correct. If you don't know the story, enjoy!
