I've been a P-more fan since 2005 and have essentially dedicated a huge chunk of my life to this band.
We're based out of Chicago and we just got taken on by a management group and we have gotten signed on to be regulars at some pretty big venues in our area. I've just started my first rock (indie, britpop) band, I'm not amazing at guitar by any means, but I can think I could be a good rhythm guitarist. We have a drummer, bassist and lead vocals... but no lead guitarist. Is this necessary? Would we sound bad without someone playing solos and lead sections?
As per the title, the campaign is sorta dead-ending. Could use advice on how to get it back on track!

I wanna start by saying thank you to all the awesome people on here that are so vocal and supportive. I only started making music this past summer, but have loved interacting with everybody in the community since then. It's exciting to hear the progress I've made since my first EP, and like everybody says, it's just about grinding your way forward lol. Thank you so much to anybody that checks out the project, any feedback is much appreciated!
(I love when people analyze some of their own stuff to give it some context, so I did a short breakdown of every individual track below)
Intro - I actually only met the producer of this track because of Reddit. I messaged him on here, and then found this beat on his Soundcloud. I thought it set the tone for the project perfectly.
Championships - One of my personal favorites. A lyrical, confessional track over a really soulful beat.
Tell You - One of the more upbeat, "banger"-ish songs. (I ended up finding out that one of the producers of this track played on my roommate's little league team as a kid. The world is crazy lol.)
Wanna Know - A pretty straightforward, boom-bappy chill track.
My Time - A high-energy song over some experimental production.
I Need - A trappier, bassier track with a kind of mellow, drugged-out vibe.
Glow - A bouncy song about relationships with some organ and Marvin Gaye samples in the beat. Pretty cool cause this one was produced by my friend and then his friend sang the hook, so the song came entirely just from the three of us.
Midnight Interlude - A short, chilled out interlude about fear, dreams, motivation...
Side - An energetic song over a hard-hitting beat. The second verse and then the hook right after it is maybe one of my favorite moments on the mixtape.
Bleach - Just a simple, freestyle type song over some experimental production.
Honest Hours - A chiller, reflective track with some different parts to it. A couple beat switches in this one. Also produced by my friend.
Outro - Loved how the sample-driven production sounded for a potential outro, just tried to write a sort of introspective song to close the whole thing out.
Still nowhere near where I want to end up, but hopefully I'm at least getting closer lol. Thanks again to anybody that checks it out, let me know what you think if you get a chance!

The tournament begins on this day, and few have arrived, many no doubt falling to the deadly traps that littered its path. Only the strongest have reached this point. A single man draped in black awaits them, a shinning door behind him. I will not waste your time, he says. Fight, and fight to win. This is not a mere tournament, this is a chance. A chance to obtain whatever you desire.
Some among the crowd snicker, others stay silent, but none contest him, for his nen bewilders even the strongest of them. The man wastes no time, he points to two among the crowd. You, and you. Enter this door and you will arrive at one of my creations. There is but one rule. Kill or force your opponent to submission, and you are victorious.

Here's some context: I've been in a band for 2.5ish years and we have been playing shows for the last several months, but don't have any good recordings to release. We have decided to take a break on shows so that we can record some decent demos. Our other guitarist (rhythm) is great at using recording software, EQing, mixing, etc., but he's really not great at playing precisely or consistently.
Now, I'm trying really hard to make sure I don't get a big ego as the lead guitarist, but I've been getting frustrated that our rhythm player does not seem to practice our songs or know how to play to a metronome. He insists on recording the rhythm parts and got really upset when I tracked both parts to a song that I wrote on my own. We most recently let him record rhythm and then bass and lead afterwards, but nothing lined up right and sounded really sloppy as a result of his inability to keep a consistent rhythm.
So my question: Am I an asshole for wanting to record both parts to ensure that we get a good, consistent sound? Should we just keep trying until his part sounds "good enough"? Any advice on navigating this situation in general?

I abandoned the song and the investigation for a while because my lead never responded to me. However, I’m trying to work up the confidence to message their record label on Instagram (they’re from Germany and could help us with the investigation or at least point me in the direction of someone who can).
I haven’t seen anyone try to contact anyone involved with the German postpunk scene yet so I’m excited to see what this unlocks! (if I can get over my anxiety about the whole thing...)

I've been trying to find a place to get this out, and I think this is the place. So my wife (26F) and I (26M) are newly weds, and just as a preface, what I'm going to talk about isn't something that I feel is an ultimatum or I would want a divorce or something. I just wanted to talk about this and hopefully get advice about my frustration
So like I said, we're newly weds and she is my best friend. Besides this topic here, everything is pretty much perfect. But I'm afraid we will eventually have a dead bedroom, due to what she does (or... Doesn't, rather)
On average, we have sex once a month, maybe. I definitely am HL and she is LL (not like no sex drive whatsoever, but it seems lower than me). I personally would rather have it be like once a week or twice a month, but of course weeks can be busy, so it's no big deal. But more would definitely help with the pent up state I constantly have, and quite literally keeps me up. But all that is fine, but my wife does things that makes it so much more difficult.
Throughout the day, when we are both home, or when we get home from work, we always tease each other; slapping asses as we walk by, biting ears, small things like that. I don't think every time we do something like that, it'll lead to sex, of course. But I'd say at least twice a week, she ramps it up and does it constantly throughout our time together. For instance, we'd be sitting down, and she'd bite my ear or my neck, which she knows are huge turn on spots for me, to the point where even a less-so-observant man like me would say she wants to get things going. Or if we shower together (which we do about twice a week) and it's uh, quite obvious I'm aroused by showering with her, she plays it up and teases a bunch. And sometimes she is totally blunt. Like, post shower, we'd be in towels, and I'd be infront of the bathroom mirror shaving or whatnot, and she'd come in, take off her towel infront of me, yank off mine, kisses me and simultaneously grab hold of my um... Member, give it a jerk or two, then give me a sultry look as she walks away naked to our bedroom.
Now, I don't know about you, but that last one seems like the most blunt thing on the planet, right? So naturally, I finish up my shaving or whatever, and I follow after her 30 seconds later and attempt to get things going. But when I get to our bedroom where she is, she usually stops me and says "nooo I want to make a tea!" or "noo, I am hungry. I want some food" or I gotta call my parent
