Just listened to the episode. When they said the draft topic the first two things that came to my head were field hockey stick and cricket bat. I'm an American male in my 30s so I'm a very similar demographic to Andy, Mike, and Jason. I really couldn't believe they left my 1.01 on the board.

As somebody who has played hockey for many years, I don't get the "grip" finish on sticks. I don't like to feel like my bottom hand is locked in place/hard to move, especially when stick handling and deking.
Yet nowadays, it's hard to even find sticks that don't have the grip finish. I'm actually trying to buy a stick right now and almost all of them come with the grip finish, much to my annoyance. Worth noting, I have used grip finish sticks before (when I needed a stick in a pinch and the only options had grip) and still am not a big fan.
That said, if it comes on nearly every stick, maybe I'm missing something. Why do people like this finish? Please sell me on the grip finish; convince me it is good haha.
In field hockey each team is given two referrals that they can use in the match, the ref stops the play immediately. If the referral is correct the team keeps it else they lose it. The implementation is nearly perfect. We hear the conversation with the video referee and referee. Video referee makes the call.
After your referrals are over its upto the ref to call upon the video umpire when they have some doubts regarding their decision.
The use is so good, it does not hinder with the game at all.
I am a devils fan and love the ‘New Jersey.’ Can’t really wrap my head around why it’s receiving aggressive hate. Any and all NHL jerseys are on the table.

Okay, so right now I am doing a re-watch, and am currently mid-season 2. Remember when Mike first starts acting out, starts breaking and entering, etc? It shows in his bedroom that he has a side car mirror on his desk. It displays "Parents in mirror closer than they appear". I have always taken note to the N in the word parents, it is written in such a way that caught my eye. Then, when Toby finds the field hockey stick while working on the Hastings property, I see the same N written in 'Hastings'. When Spencer has her flashback, (In which she is teaching Ali how to use the stick) she tells the girls that it is a stick she uses for practice but that it used to be Melissa's! Peter later burns the stick in the fireplace.
My theory- Melissa killed Bethany Young with the hockey stick.
Anybody see any hang ups with this? And PLEASE let me know if so!
NOTE: One potential hang up I see is that Melissa is smart. You would think she could have found a better way of getting rid of that hockey stick than burying it on Hastings property. Seems off to me.
Me and are friend are captains of the mixed (field) hockey team. We want to customise some kit for the team with a cool design and we were thinking something along the lines of the title.
