A list of puns related to "Fatshark"
> So we have looked in to this. It's far more complex than first suspected -- EAC has two versions. Non-EOS and EOS (Epic Online Services). Most games historically use Non-EOS EAC. It's the one Vermintide 2 uses as well. Epic only added Proton support for the EOS version of EAC. Therefor in order to implement proton support for Vermintide 2, a huge amount of reworking of the EAC implementation would be required, which may also require all players to authenticate with Epic Online Services as well -- perhaps even logging in to the Epic environment (to be confirmed, however).
> So the "just a few clicks" statement made in the original announcement wasn't entirely accurate, and would only apply to titles using the EOS version of EAC, which simply hasn't been many games aside from either pretty new ones, and likely predominantly Epic exclusive titles.
> We are still looking at what is or isn't going to be possible, but it's not as easy as it was made out to be -- far from it in fact.
> There may be other solutions or workarounds, but ripping out the old EAC and rewriting everything to implement "NuEAC" and potentially asking our entire playerbase to connect through and sign through EOS for an honestly tiny market share that was (and would remain) unsupported from the get go might be a deal breaker.
I really love new white skins and I am unlocking them one by one but on some classes they don't have any white helmets to match them and it looks wierd. Would be nice if you added them too and in future when you add some mono-color skins, please kindly also add headwear to match, thank you!
She's been answering both old and new questions nonstop, giving us insights and, in my opinion, helping combat some of the disgruntled feelings the community has by addressing the thornier issues too. Example:
This is a great step towards the transparency the community has been asking for.
I know some players enjoy WoM and all power to them - but overall WoM wasn't a success (compare to Chaos Wastes) with how it's implemented and designed and now unless you run pre-made there is no way to find matches unless you afk in q for a long time since only small % of players play it compare to Campaign and Chaos Wastes. It's been quite some time and it's obvious that Fatshark does not plan to redesign/fix WoM so could we at least get WoM skins in Campaign mode? It's kind of shame that great skins like that are wasted in WoM. Having them as challenge unlocks in normal mode/chaos wastes would surge another nice wave of players back into game since they are all worth the grind.
I think it's time.
I saw somewhere that they were considering making changes to how Illusionist works, does anyone have any more information about that? I and everyone I play with really hates playing against an Illusionist boss, more often than not we get wiped (especially if the fight is near a cliff edge). We're also not great at the game but still.
2 years ago we were preparing to say our goodbyes after the WoM release threatened to destroy the player count, and weaves were supposed to be our βend gameβ. The game felt like abandonware at certain points, and we were told players with hundreds or thousands of hours were major outliers. But here we are, on the eve of a Saltzpyre career drop, a Very entertaining Halloween event, and chaos wastes being introduced earlier this year with a recent update. Tons of lore tidbits about characters and the world itself, it feels like the devs want to actually maintain the community. Are there lots of valid complaints? Sure, just ask anyone about grudge mark combos or cosmetic issues. But the massive improvements fatshark has made deserve some level of recognition. They were in the pits, and they somehow clawed their way out and attempted to better understand their community. Iβm feeling optimistic about this game. End of sappy diatribe.

Please make the new Saltzpyre class OP AF, thank you. Sincerely a Saltzpyre main.
does anyone else feel he should get fury meters from taking damage?
Almost every time during monster fights(if it doesn't last long enough to trigger a horde, and even then they could be erased by teammates before he gets in range), he starts yelling and hammer glows *after* monster is dead.
It would be nice to have him take damage to trigger Righteous Fury, like in Mark of Chaos trailer. And this wouldn't be a straight buff that lets him erase everything on map on-demand like SOTT. Will synergize pretty well with right side lv30 talent.
And/or make him get fury meter at *any* range; so range mains can't do as much harm to WP effectiveness in addition to lack of thp.
Greetings!
It's that time again for a Vermintide 2 Community Contest over on the Fatshark Forums. This time, get arty and up for grabs are rare Eternal Serpent Portrait Frames and Official Fatshark hoodies!
Competition runs until 12pm CEST on Friday 10th of December.
Head over to the Fatshark Forums to get involved :)
Since the Chaos Wastes release, I've only played that mode. At first, it was awesome; once we'd figured it out, my bestie and I would rain lighting and permacrits from on high like the vengeful gods we are. We went from playing with humans to dueting the whole thing just us, and then back to letting humans join because carrying them was more of a challenge.
And then, the Grudge Monsters attacked.
At first, we were annoyed. How dare FatShark make these unkillable Illusionist Rampart Relentless Vampiric Invulnerable Regenerating Minotogre Fiend Spawn to ruin our streak of successes.
But the more I play, the more I'm all right with spending 45 minutes getting to the Citadel and fighting for my damn life against insurmountable odds. And losing almost every time. It makes the victories that much sweeter--
but it also teaches me to stop judging the quality of a run by a Victory screen, and to start enjoying the little things: a brilliant combo here, a crazy Gutter Runner dodge there, Ulting Back and Forth Forever. It's kind of more beautiful this way. We're going to try to go spit in the Chaos Gods' faces, and we're probably going to eat shit for it. But by Sigmar, we will spit.
It's definitely more in-tune with the Warhammer universe and the End Times. But it's also kind of more in-tune with a lot of our lives right now. We might have all the right talents, and play the game well, and we still just fucking lose, sometimes. But by Sigmar, we will fight.
Please don't spit in real life though. Omicron is watching.
Oh, blessed FatShark, your faithful slave turns his pitiful face and crippled soul to you! Itβs getting harder and harder for me to bear the weight of your power from time to time! I have crushed thousands of enemies, I have done everything to stop the chaosβ¦ butβ¦ Iβm going astrayβ¦ I NEED A SIGNTHAT IβM STILL GOING THE RIGHTEOUS WAY.WHICH NO ONE CAN DOUBT!Please give an indication, a sign about the future of your blessed slave Victor Saltzpyre! Donβt leave your flock! Please donβt take this as an impertinence! Your creation is magnificent in many ways and perfect in its imperfection! You are great demiurges, for which many are grateful to you! We ask you only for a sign, only for your two-tailed cometβ¦
May the FatSharks save my soul and mindβ¦
Let your gifts appear as soon as possible! I'm losing faith bit by bit, but it's still strong! O mighty gods, give a sign! Condescend to us! Followers and believers they die every day, but we are still holding on! I pray, be merciful to us, O great FatShark!
May the FatShark save my soul and mindβ¦
These bosses are harder to deal with than the meme difficulties I see people play on youtube with the bonuses of special effects. I know for a fact the vast majority plays on champion/veteran. So a large portion of me believes that's what gets the most focus. I have had so many runs end because "you lose now" combinations and we didn't have the cheese builds to overcome it. Cata is supposed to be hard and it's hard so I guess getting a relentless shield shatter illusionist minotaur in that tiny ass arena map and dying to it is my lack of skill showing. To have like 2 hours pissed away based on a coin flip. End rant.
I know this has probably been posted before but I jet got my first fpv drone today and a set of Fat Shark Attitude v6.
The battery pack for the googles say that the batteries have to be charged in a separate battery charger. But the battery pack has a connector next to the power adaptor that can plug into my battery charger. If youβre not meant to charge the batteries when theyβre in the pack what is that lead/connection for?
That way bombs, bounty hunter, trollhammer, waystalker can chance of dealing with them.
The contest is officially over and the winners have been announced. Congrats to the chosen submissions!
> To everyone who participatedβ¦ THANK YOU! > The passion for Vermintide is clear in all of your utterly INCREDIBLE creations. > From everyone here at Fatshark YOU. ARE. THE. BEST! π₯π₯π₯

Darktide is my most anticipated game of 2022. Even more so than Elden, STALKER 2, Dying Light 2..you name it, Darktide is TOP of my wishlist.
They announced the Bardin Songbook ages ago, still no news. >:[
Give us an ETA Fatshark!
Opinions on development resources and responsibilities aside, I would like to propose an idea that could benefit everyone involved.
I think there should be a dedicated community-led team that aides in the process of getting mods sanctioned. Here is the short and generic pipeline of how it would get done:
Now I can already imagine there is some nuance I'm unaware of or forgetting that can throw a wrench into the pipeline, however the ability to pre-emptively reject bad submissions based on mod requirements would drastically filter down mod reviews and enable Fatshark and their limited resources to approve more sanction mods. We could also conduct community surveys (if necessary) to see which mods should be prioritized above others.
Can any dev speak to the viability of this idea? I feel it's a net positive and is within the spirit of their sanctioning approach and the desires of the community.

I was originally writing this in response to a concern someone listed in another thread, but it ended up being longer than I wanted it to be. I hope this provides a basis of discussion that some may find worthwhile, if not because of my anecdotal experiences, then because of other players that may choose to list their varying experiences in the comments.
I'm only speaking from my experiences in cata quick play. I also wanted to put my experience out there because I've seen communities have kneejerk reactions that have altered the balance or narratives of certain games for the worse before. I'd like to know if anyone else holds similar opinions regarding grudge marks, or if the overwhelming majority of the playerbase truly holds significant misgivings with the update.
A final note that I want to be clear about is that I'm not speaking with any sense of authority on this. I've met far too many players in QP cata games that have a better understanding of the game than I do. I'm simply putting my current understanding out in the open for others to mull over in the format of a casual (but hopefully fruitful) discussion.
There's been a few comments in the community suggesting that triple grudge bosses are just unfair in general. In my experience, the combinations that seem to carry any sense of unfairness are limited, and not the majority of grudge modifiers. Many combinations only seem to prolong boss encounters instead of adding any substantial difficulty. Nearly all other combinations that add difficulty (that I've experienced) often do not feel overbearing when playing with randoms in my quickplay matches.
My particular gripes are only directed at three modifiers, and one of them isn't due to an inherent increase in difficulty.
- Cripple - My problem with this comes from the existence of Minotaurs, Spawns, and the modifier's cousin which goes by the name of Shield-Shatter.
In QP cata, most players seem to understand how to dance with Roger so it isn't an issue in many cases. Troll's attack patterns seem to be entirely understood or otherwise too slow for QP cata teams for this modifier to really be an issue there (I honestly do not remember the last time I ever saw a team wipe to Trolls on cata).
Stormfiends are in a middle ground wherein Shadowstep/Illusionist eliminates their weaknesses in ways that Roger and Trolls can't utilize as easily. Application of Cripple is easy t
