A list of puns related to "Eyelash extensions"
So I loveeeeee lashes. I want to try eyelash extensions but Iβm wondering how theyβll hold up under sweaty, intense workouts :/
Hello friends!!!
Iβll start by saying Iβve always hated my appearance. I just graduated from law school and have began an associate position so I am finally making money. I have decided to try to fix my appearance, which I have always hated.
In the past month, I have spent $300 on lash extensions and within days they all fall out. I wash them with a brush and cleanser and take all the necessary precautions. They just do not seem to work for me.
I am really discouraged. Are there any alternatives to eyelash extensions in terms of mascara or serums? ANY advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
They look completely unnatural and not feminine at all. Like a plastic surgery that was botched and looks completely disproportional. Maybe if itβs subtle but if itβs the ones that look like a doll, itβs uncanny valley. Am I the only one? What am I not seeing here?
I scheduled my first appointment for eyelash extensions, and Iβm very excited. However, Iβm a bit put off by having to go back for fills twice a month for $50 a pop. In addition, extensions are pretty high maintenance. So, what makes it worth it to you, especially in comparison to other treatments like lash lifts?
Or am i doomed
Iβll start off by saying that Iβm the epitome of an indecisive Libra.... soooo do eyelash extensions actually ruin your natural lashes?! Tips?! For someone with pretty full decent lashes I just want to add some extra umphhh for a wedding in a month. I normally do lash strips whenever I go βoutβ & only occasionally lose a lash or two.
Obligatory: throw away account, mobile, donβt share or post/repost this anywhere. TLDR at the end.
A friend invited an esthetician to her home to do eyelashes. Esthetician said she would give us a discount for coming to friendβs house. She is running 2 hours late, 4.5 hours of application and charges me $50 more than advertised. I didnβt want to cause a scene at the hostβs house so I paid it.
The lashes are much fuller than what I asked for, they are falling out, sharp and poking me. Esthetician said she tried a new glue and that itβs βnot the best Im so sorry!β The next day she removed them. Two days pass, my eyelids are still swollen, red, and painful. Esthetician refuses the refund. Iβm talking with another girl who had a similar experience and we find out that she was using strip lashes with glue which we are told is a rookie mistake.
I send a βrefund requestβ on Venmo and she denies it. I send another letting her know that I will be pursuing small claims court and calling the board on Monday. She blocks me. I find out she has been talking behind my back all day about how Iβm βthreatening to destroy a single motherβs career over $150.β I get this sounds like a Karen thing, but she has ghosted, blocked, and refused to fix her mistake. I just want my money back.
TLDR: esthetician used βnew glueβ which caused a βrookie mistakeβ and I had to get them removed less than 24 hours later. It left my eyes red, swollen, and painful. She refused a refund then blocked me. AITA because I want to file small claims and file a complaint?
UPDATE: Called the state today. She isnβt allowed to practice anywhere other than the address on her license, and she is licensed through the state as a βfacialist.β They informed me that if given proper training she could do lashes. Iβve asked the person who handles the complaint to call me tomorrow to discuss my options. Iβve researched small claims court and what I can legally ask for. I keep hoping she sends me my money back because this has gotten so out of hand and $150 lashes are about to turn into court costs, serving fees, and possibly fines from the state. I have felt guilty because I didnβt want to be the cause of her misfortune- but honestly, she is forcing my hand and playing the victim.
Today I got eyelash extensions and they were completely fine. About 2-3 Hours later they are starting to turn red. Itβs not bloodshot red, just a little pink. My eyes donβt hurt or anything either. Should I wait a few days to see if the redness goes away? Are there any eyedrops I could use to relieve it?
could anyone please recommend me good & trustworthy places to get eyelash extensions in the city or close by?
Does anyone know of a good spot for eyelash extensions here in San Marcos?
I have my birthday coming up and am going on a trip and wanted to get my eyelashes done for it. They looked gorgeous the first day and then after I hit around the 24 hour mark I started to get a severe allergic reaction to the glue and my eyelids swelled almost completely shut :( itβs now 3 days later and I had to pay to have them immediately removed yet the skin around my eyes is completely raw, dry, and extremely painful. I am lucky that my bday trip isnβt for a couple weeks and it should be gone by then... but if I and gotten them done for my wedding or something it would have completely ruined the day as itβs seriously sooooo painful and i can only keep my eyes open for short periods of time without ice on them. Please get eyelashes first as a βtestβ before the big event because yes, itβs rare to be allergic to this, but you never know if you are or not until you get them on and having a reaction could ruin your big day.
What are your experiences with removing lash extensions at home? Thoughts π
Hi everyone! Iβm going to be learning how to do eyelash extensions this month. Iβm extremely nervous because those are someoneβs eyes & I feel like if I donβt do a good job, everyone will be able to see it. Any tips/ recommendations? Did you all feel like this when you first started?
I'd like to get them done. I have an appointment this Friday.
I'm tired of putting mascara on but I have blonde eyelashes and really need mascara to feel comfortable.
I want to hear all the pros and cons!
