A list of puns related to "Ewok Celebration"
I only recently came across the original Ewok Celebration song, and I'm utterly fascinated by an aspect of it. Looking up translations online I only can find the main chorus. Is whatever the guy is funkily rapping about still a complete mystery nobody has bothered to decode in almost 40 years?
I thought this could be a fun, nostalgic conversation. Maybe we'll find that we shared some incorrect ideas.
Please please please tell me the REAL ewok celebration song plays when the little dudes are victorious!!!
Thanks to a good friend of mine, I attended a Star Wars Celebration function in Ontario, Oregon (Wed, March 14, 2017. Long story short, there was a panel segment, wherein the three actors sat on stage, talking about their experiences on the original trilogy, careers, families/friends, (including a celebration tribute to Jeremy Bulloch's film credits). A cheery bunch, they were clearly very good friends catching up on old times, as we the audience were their invited guests, which made me also feel as such also.
At one point, the trio agreed to take about 10 questions from the large audience before wrapping up that night. The set up of seated masses was divided into three large sections (akin to a church arrangement) with aisles dividing each sector allowing passage to and from the stage area. The actors' heads were about the size of quarters from where we were sitting).
The second fan question was: "What did you three think of Star Wars Episode I (1999) upon its release?" The actors laughed/shook their heads, as Edmonds said he got to play some minor background characters in the film, but he and Blake especially agreed how they felt the film was different than the originals but not in a good way. Mike Edmonds comically smiled, saying: "I only lasted 20 minutes at the premier before I walked out! That Jar Jar Binks...what a character!" Everybody burst into laughter, as Paul added: "I couldn't STAND him!" basically stating the over the top goofy nature and how it didn't flow with the original trilogy. Some cheers followed.
Upon hearing this, my eyes widened at a sudden thought, as my hand shot up and remained raised for an astounding 20 minutes non-stop! (no kidding!). As I felt the blood drained from my left limb, I refused to put it down. If I was chosen I absolutely had to ask them:
"On the subject of the prequels, what would you say to the idea of Jar Jar Binks being a Sith/bad guy, as the recent famed theory suggests?"
Several questions in (about 15 minutes of maintaining the upheld arm), the mic guy announced "Okay, we have time for 3 more questions," as some hands shot up all around. Up to this point, there were probably about 12-20 other hands randomly scattered among the 100+ crowd. I was one of the very few, if only, in my section that had a hand raised). My heart thumped at the suspense...5 minutes later, the announcer said 'Ok, one more question...' My adrenaline pumped....and then spiked ten thousand fold when Jeremy Bulloch, all the way
... keep reading on reddit β‘I think this song should be played at the end of every round on endor when the Rebels win. It would be awesome if they add this. We haven't never heard this theme in a video game before.
A video I saw a couple of years ago that put together a bunch of videos that appeared after Osama Bin Laden's death. In the background it has the celebration music from the end of Return of the Jedi.
