A list of puns related to "Evil Dead Rise"
According to @BigScreenLeaks on Twitter, Lee Cronin's EVIL DEAD RISE had a test screening on the 27th of this month.
>"One of the better entries in the franchise, very gory and had an actually solid cast."
I'm honestly surprised it's being screened so soon, especially since Cronin was still editing at the beginning of this month. BigScreenLeaks says they have more information regarding RISE that they plan on posting in the next few days, so here's hoping we'll get more plot details...
From the wiki page for Evil Dead Rise ๐
>New Line Cinema (the original movie's distributor) was announced as the film's distributor alongside HBO Max.
8-Bit Christmas is another movie with New Line as a distributor but got NO release on home media.
Not very promising.... However look at these HBO Max titles that still got some form of release...
Justice League got a release on 4K/Bluray/DVD.
The Witches (2020) got a release on Bluray/DVD.
An American Pickle got a release on DVD.
Superintelligence got a release on DVD.
Locked Down got a release on DVD, and a Blu-ray release in Spain only.
So I guess there's hope, right? The question is, is Evil Dead a big enough name to warrant a physical release in addition to streaming on HBO Max, like Justice League and The Witches were...
Iโve been thinking about the Evil Dead franchise lately and wanted to pose a question to you all.
Do you think the Evil Dead franchise can sustain a non-Ash story?
Iโm still on the fence about a 100% non-Ash take on the series, Iโm sure Rise will be a good film but probably not the film for me.
For me, Evil Dead is Ash (and Bruce) but I understood and enjoyed Mia.
How about you, are you excited for a more lore based film or do you miss the man in blue?
Just finished Ash Vs Evil Dead and loved it so so much. The last ep of season 3 had a โglobal deadite/ dark onesโ attack, and seemingly didnโt end when Ash killed the giant demon (seeing as how he is still needed in the post-apocalypse).
I wonder if Evil Dead Rise (which takes place in an urban environment) will take place where the show left off, showing what happened while Ash was cryogenically frozen.
Maybe a cameo from Pablo and Kelly?
Do you guys have any theories about the upcoming installment? Wishes? What would you like to see?
I was just looking at the Wikipedia page of HBO Max original films and I noticed the ones that had Warner Max listed as the production company, they were all streaming exclusives.
However The Witches and Zack Snyder's Justice League are examples of "HBO Max original films" that also got a Bluray release.
Locked Down (2021) with Anne Hathaway also had a DVD release worldwide but a Blu-ray release only in Spain...
>New Line Cinema (the original movie's distributor) was announced as the film's distributor alongside HBO Max.
Wouldn't New Line be wanting to distribute Evil Dead Rise on Blu-ray too?
