I’m a couple episodes into the first season and it’s not bad by any means but it just feels like it’s sort of lacking for some reason. I was wondering if the show progressively gets better or if I should temper my expectations
I’m not gonna lie but I find the argument between Ash and Brock about what happened that night at the Cabin in the bar to be a very well written and well shot scene with Bruce and Lee giving their lines perfectly, ESPECIALLY the emotional read of Lee as he blamed Ash about the death of Cheryl and same goes to Bruce about his line read of Ash getting angry over his father’s insistence that he snapped and killed his friends, girlfriend and sister
Before the show, I was a fan of the movies/franchise. now, at the time when I first saw the show.. a big fan.
I miss the show, really. it needs to come back with new episodes.
It has always bugged me that this show was cancelled. We left the show on such a high note. It’s like why didn’t Netflix pick up the show?
Can Ash "This is my Boomstick" Williams, who once stopped the Necronomicon from destroying everything, can he handle the plot of the Evil Within games, and come out on top, Alive, and not missing any more limbs.
Ash has his standard equipment (Shotgun + Chainsaw Proshetic) and whatever he can find/use during the plot
R1: Old Ash (Ash vs Evil Dead Ash) is brought out of retirement to handle the Evil Within instead of the Necronomicon threats.
R2: Prime Ash (Army of Darkness Ash) has to take on the plot instead. At his peak, how much easier will he find it.
R3: Instead of LIVING the games, Ash Williams has to Complete the Evil Within games as any one of us would, using a controller/mouse and keyboard. Can he do it?
Bonus: Instead of Ash Williams, another Bruce Campbell character has to take on the task. Former Navy Seal: Sam Axe. Sam gets Michael Weston and Fiona Glennane to help him, If they can't handle it, Team Burn Notice gets prep, knowing they'll face a horde of Fire-weak zombies, but no other intel.
Bonus 2: Who is the STRONGEST Character who would FAIL to complete The Evil Within plot. Maybe they freeze up and are terrified, because they have absurd levels of power, but are a child. (Saiyan Saga Gohan, for Example. Everything would be fodder to him, but he'd be terrified)
Bonus 3: Who is the Weakest Character that would complete The Evil Within without any issue, and not be remotely affected or bothered by it, save for maybe having a bit of fun killing all the Zombies.

Negan has Lucille while Ash has his chainsaw. No guns allowed. Neither combatant can use comic book feats. (both Negan and Ash are way stronger in the comics)
...and I already love it. I just finished the first episode, and it still has the slapstick physical comedy, blood, and Ash's grooviness that made me love the original Evil Dead films. I do have one question; can anyone tell me which Evil Dead films are canon in the show? It's been a little while since I've seen the movies, and I know there's the scene in episode 1 with Ash explaining his past to Pablo, but I was wondering if all the Evil Dead films are canon in this universe (excluding the remake probably), or maybe just 2 and 3, or a different possibility? If anyone could answer that would be great! Thanks! And I totally recommend the show to anyone who is on the fence!

I think I read that before it got cancelled they were working on having Ash deal with stuff in the future, and he was going to meet up with Pablo, Kelly and likely his daughter.
I honestly believe that two stories could be combined and be really interesting.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I know you can D2D for a single season for just $2 but I guess I never realized you can do the whole series for just $2, just have to use the UPC for the bundles. Feels like such a deal.
So I'm pretty bored and was wondering.... how would y'all build the main man bruce campbell from evil dead, and how effective could he be? Personally I think Occultist, fighter with the gnome ripsaw would fit perfectly.
First of all, Bruce Campbell would be a kick ass voice actor.
Second, the action could be awesome, cutting through hordes of dead items with intense boss fights.
It would be so damn fun.
It could also span multiple movies and the show or have new plot lines and still be awesome
