Hi, thank you for reading my questions and concerns..

I am trying to research the safe and effective options for my transition. I am in Latin America, but in a few months will be able to see a doctor in the U.S. and seek a more precise treatment. (I’m thinking, Estradiol valorate, plus an AA and maybe a progestin).

Til then, though, I have recently been prescribed and started injecting Perlutal (Estradiol Enantate 10mg, Algestone acetophenide 150mg) for twice a month. The doctor also prescribed Spironolactone, but I did not take it more than a day. The side effects were too overwhelming for me, especially the mental ones. I was reading how, with proper monitoring, E alone can push down my T into the female ranges. So I’m just injecting Perlutal, for now, hoping that at my 3 month blood test, my hormone levels will be in the correct ranges. Spiro is just so heavy on the system.

I heard that a Progestin, combined with E, can help feminize more effectively, including breast growth. I also read how the progestin might only be effective for about the first 6 months.

Can anybody chime in about whether progestins do help, and if they should be stopped after a certain time period?

Secondly,

...If my T is still too high after 3 months, should I try Cyproterone (with B12 supplements)? Spiro was awful.. and GnRH agonists are uh, 10k usd a year (wow?!). I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to be safe and reduce side effects.

Hello everyone, so i strated HRT in last january with estrogel and now since october i added pills to increase my estrone.

I have to switch to injection because my application areas ( for estrogel ) are getting satured and my estradiol level still going down and down...

So : my questions are :

For beginning injections should i go with EEn or EV and why ?

Wich dosage ? And wich level ?

In Wich body area will i have to inject ?

I plan to start injection in january so i can try an other two months to increase my estrone and estradiol the more i can to be the Closer to injection level ( to not Make à bad peak) idk if i’m clear and sorry for that ( io french ). Is that judicious to wait an other two months to increase my estrone and try to have the higher estradiol level my estrogel ?

Im going with Lena cause in France its a mess.

I am currently in the hospital. I had a back operation yesterday. The surgical nurse came in my room and started asking questions about my back. She asked me if I had any falls during the last year. I responded just one. It was after summer.

The only way I can access to injectible is a contraceptive that has dehydroprogesterone on it and is Estradiol Enantate (it's called Atrimon) I'm not sure if it would work for the powers method since it already has aparently a bad progesterone on it and not sure if I could combine it with micronized one for rectal use.

Right now I'm taking 8mg EV bucally and 12.5mg Cypro

i did my first blood test, since i started injection of EEn (1 day before the 3rd shot, after 9 days the second shot). I think they are really good, but my e is high and t is good . It's From Lena, i'm injecting 0.31ml every 10 days subq. I know it's still early from when I started injection but, Should I tweak a bit the dosage or continue and check again in a few months? Before I was on 6 months pills on 6mg.

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.

I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.

When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."

From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"

Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.

This happened a few years ago when my son was 6ish. When my kids hurt themselves and it doesn’t look serious I always do the “we might have to amputate that bruised hand” shtick with them. I’ve done it enough that they now roll their eyes.

So, my son got hit lightly in the face with a rubber ball. It wasn’t a hard hit and I could tell he was more upset by the shock of it rather than the pain. So I say “looks like we will have to amputate your nose.” To which he replies “then how will I smell?” And I say “terrible!”

It was my greatest dad joke ever. I felt like I could retire after that.
