I didn't shove him or anything, just reminded him that its not a new phenomenon. He stepped to the middle of the stairs and told me to go. I pointed out that he had plenty of room to move over so I don't have to touch him and his kid on passing. He didn't move so I squeezed by.
The wife and him were rude in response and sweetly told me they hoped I made it to my destination... so reddit....AITA here?

He's a black guy, mid-thirties, medium build, casual clothes. It seems like he's always there when I pass through, just staring down or at those giant screens they have. You know who I'm talking about? I have a couple theories:

He's a security guard who doesn't have a lot to do. He doesn't even put on his uniforms most days, because there just isn't any need for him, but he still shows up to work.

I don't like to gossip or whatever, but it's odd to me that he's always there, in the same spot. I think I've only passed through the towers one time in the past couple months and not seen him.
