A list of puns related to "Eno (rapper)"
Hi everyone,
Unfortunate news. I was giddy as a kid on Christmas yesterday after setting up the hammock / bugnet / tarp on my backyard. Problem was, I could never fall asleep! And this is the 2nd time ever I do hammock camping; first one was deep in El Yunque rainforest about 25 years ago, and I can vaguely recall a similar feeling, altough we were smack in the middle of a nascent thunderstorm all night (one of the scariest things I've ever experienced).
But yeah. This was unfortunate. Especially considering I'm not new to hammocks. I've been born and raised in Puerto Rico, where hammock culture is strong, our ancestor Taรญno people used them... I always have various hammocks around, and frequently rest / lay in them, sometimes falling asleep and napping... but both times I've tried to camp out on a hammock and use it as the bed / shelter, both times I've failed miserably to sleep.
Do you think maybe it's a psychological thing from that first time? Should I try the diagonal position to flatten out the sleeping space?
I tried going to sleep first at 9:30PM, then 12AM, and finally gave up at 3:40AM and headed back to my bed inside my house. Slept like a rock until the wife woke me almost at 9AM.
Here's the hammock:

In the world of modern music, few have had an impact as wide reaching as Brian Eno. As a musician, an artist, a producer, or a writer, Enoโs fingerprints are instantly recognizable and singular, his impact on any collaborator or media immediate.
With the full name of Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno, Brian was born to be remarkable. Enrolling at the Ipswich School of Arts, Eno went for the new Groundcourse foundation art degree established by new media artist Roy Ascott. With encouragement from teacher and friend Tom Phillips and inspiration from a lecture by Pete Townshend, he began to look for unconventional means of creating music, including using a tape recorder as an instrument.
First playing drums in The Black Aces, Brian soon took part in various avant garde ensembles and appeared on Cornelius Cardew and the Scratch Orchestraโs The Great Learning as well as the soundtrack to art house film Berlin House. Heโs bouncing between projects, making ends meet in day jobs, things are going okay. Then one day at a station, he meets a saxophone player. That player ended up being Andy MacKay, who had responded to an ad by Bryan Ferry about a new band, and though Eno wasnโt a musician per se, his mastery of synthesizers and reel tapes led to him being added first as a technical advisor and finally a full on band member.
Across Roxy Musicโs self-titled debut and For Your Pleasure, the band demonstrated a sound and style rarely if ever seen and heard before, and no small part of it was due to Eno. With his VCS 3 synthesizer and tape reels, Eno was able to take the grandiose art pop of Roxy Music and give it a an ever undpredicatable character. His ability to think outside the box was unlike any other, his talents laying not in playing a traditional melody but sculpting soundscapes and sonic worlds that most listeners didnโt even know existed. As befitting his wild and unconventional sounds, Eno also played a not insignificant role in shaping the bandโs image with his surreal, flamboyant costumes and persona. Even in the midst of the British glam scene, he still managed to be completely out of left field, setting up a precursor to the image of what would come to be known as New Wave.
Obviously, he was not to stay long with Roxy Music. Bryan Ferry being the lead singer, he naturally wanted to put his found down as leader of the band. Eno, being the artist with a strong independent streak, would only have been stifled by stayi

she immediately responded, "50 cent"
it was rewarding because i could visibly see her internal groan at dumb dad joke, but then also self-horror that she was so quick to get the joke... win-win-win!!
My interest in ambient music started out with the slower moments of rock, and then after getting into electronica I started listening to ambient music in its own. In doing so, of course I found out that Eno was its godfather, and I decided to check him out. His music was extremely challenging, and it took me many months of consecutive listens for it to finally click. Once it clicked, the immensity and genius of his work became wholly apparent. And gradually, it consumed me.
Maybe itโs his childhood, maybe itโs his philosophy, maybe itโs his background as a glam-rocker, but either way; no one makes ambient like Eno. I hate to be so linear, but his approach to creating spaces and filling spaces with sound has blown all of the other ambient Iโm into out of the water. Granted, his body of work is immense, but I hate to limit my pool of ambient to one artist.
r/eno, help me!! Who (to your ear) sounds like Eno?
Does anyone have advise on hanging an ENO Doublenest from the opposing railings of a balcony?
Rails are 1.67" in outside diameter (5.25" circumference), and are 9'5" apart.
I assume some S hooks/bolt/nut combo but if there's a tried-and-true setup I'm all ears.
Please and thank you

Hello Eno-philes!! Each week we'll be discussing another album (going chronologically from Warm Jets). This week's feature is Eno's production credit on U2's first of the new Millenium:
>All That You Can't Leave Behind is the tenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and was released on 30 October 2000 through Island Records and Interscope Records. [1] Following the band's experimentation with alternative rock and dance music in the 1990s and the mixed reception to their 1997 album, Pop, U2 returned to a sound more akin to their earlier records for All That You Can't Leave Behind. The group reunited with Eno and Lanois, who had produced three prior U2 albums together. The record was originally named "U2000", which had been a working title for their PopMart Tour.

ENJOY AND DISCUSS
Hello people! Doing a college project on Brian Eno's influence on popular and experimental music, and need to get some people's responses, so if you could tell me how he has influenced (or not influenced) you and your music! All responses are welcome, thankyou :)
Ice Cube.
Basically I have an Eno tandem fuse which Iโve loved for day time hanging.
But I want to do some overnight stuff with my girlfriend in the future and was thinking a shorter equivalent of the tandem fuse would be ideal for allowing a smaller tarp which I already own and maybe allowing us to share insulation and a bug net to try and cut down on some weight.
The way the fuse bars join together prevents me from just cutting the shock cord and taking one bar out but I canโt find any shorter alternatives that would result in a closer tandem hang.
I did see a dutchware setup similar to what I wanted but it didnโt look like I could buy the bar separately as if Iโm honest Iโd like to utilise as much of the gear I already have.
Anyway not sure if theres anything out there but any help would be greatly appreciated!
I've tried stuff like Sigur Ros and Boards of Canada but Inevitably there will be some part that is too powerful and wakes me up.
