A list of puns related to "Elizabeth Hargrave"
Glad I went to Stonemaier on Thursday morning. I was able to grab a copy of Wingspan. Even more to my surprise, Elizabeth Hargrave was there and chatting with customers! I mentioned to her how my 8 year old is working on designing her own game and her response was so kind. I think I'm gonna take my kids to GenCon next year and hopefully they can meet her.
Some thoughts about the game itself: We played for the first time with 5 players. The very beginning was a little bit clunky, especially since we really had no idea what kind of birds to save in our hand or what kinds of bonus cards to hold. However, the fact that the bonus cards display a percentage of bird cards that go with it is quite helpful.
It didn't take long for things to smooth out and the engines began. I think we all agreed that 5 players might be a bit too many, but even so, I didn't feel bored at all while waiting for the others to play.
Game design is clean, attractive, and quite pleasant to the eyes. The fonts and icons are easily readable. The bird artwork is beautiful. The bird feeder dice tower and the food dice are a fun aspect of the game and is a neat little mechanic to handle adding birds to your aviary.
I'd say three of us fell in love with the game. The other two had fun, but were more bothered with having so many players. I want to try the game with 3. Even head-to-head could be great.
Definitely my favorite game of GenCon 2019.
Pretty incredible to think about the widespread success Wingspan has had. A game that has transcended beyond its hobby roots to an incredibly wide audience relatively quickly. I am always surprised when I see friends posting an Instagram shot or mention playing this new game and see Wingspan. Makes me very happy to see this hobby bring in new types of gamers and bringing joy to tabletops all around the world!
Congratulations to Elizabeth Hargrave, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo, Natalia Rojas, Beth Sobel, and StoneMaier Games for unlocking a bit of magic with this one. What an incredible achievement.
I think Wingspan is right up there with Ticket to Ride / Catan for long term staying power and bringing new people into the hobby, and the theme certainly opens up more interest than trading in the Mediterranean.
Now hear me out. It's one part duck duck goose and one part one night ultimate werewolf, with some sprinkles of heads up 7 up. Everyone sits in a circle on the floor, and are handed a role card. The main two types are ducks and geese. While eyes are closed, geese choose a 'duck' to exchange cards with. When eyes open, everyone looks at their cards. The old geese's goal is to remain anonymous in the group. The new geese's rule is to figure out who the old ducks were. Think of it like normal duck duck goose, where the goose picks the duck then gets chased around and sits in the ducks seat but in card form. There are various other roles as well that control the game. The only ones who can show their cards are the new geese as they figure out the old geese. Throw in some art by Elizabeth Hargrave and you've got yourself a game.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
We know what happened to one of the "Katarina Rostova'". She was retired, in hiding, when Ilya called her for a last job, which was a trap to kill her, all done by Dom to protect Liz. She survived, hid again, and then came for Red, Ilya and Dom, just as Red was going for her for reasons not yet clear and likely nefarious as he left Dembe behind.
Eventually Red shot her, because he believed Dom had "told her everything", what Dom told him.
But what about the other one, the one remembered by Kate in Requiem? The left handed one? The one in the nice hotel room, making a plan to steal $40 million?
She disappeared in 1991. 30 years in hiding, protected by Red, Dom and Ilya. It seems fair to suppose she changed her appearance, but who is she now?
We have two candidates in her late 50s, considering that one supposes she has been introduced to us even briefly.
Is Cynthia Panabaker Katarina Rostova?
One is Cynthia Panabaker, a redhead more embedded in the government than a tick on a dog, one that protected Liz in season 3, and delivered a warning of a burn/kill notice in season 8, with enough time to fake her death, make her disappear. Enough things about her raise flags. Certainly she seemed a good candidate for someone who could have told the Friend from the East about Liz, about Cooper, and the flash drive.
She remains a valid option. Certainly, a formidable woman.
Our second option is the woman we met as Naomi Hyland, the former Mrs. Carla Reddington, a woman described by Red on many occasions as "his wife" or his "ex-wife". Kate also called her "his wife", instead of just "Naomi", "Carla" or "her".
Is Naomi Hyland Katarina Rostova?
She has been in hiding for 30 years, like the elusive LH Katarina.
Carla was pretending to be scared of Reddington, protected in Witness Protection, which means she gave testimony or presented evidence in a criminal case, likely, the one against her husband as a traitor.
She told Liz as much:
>*They accused me of being a part of it. Somehow, I was a suspect. Put my life under a-a microscope every call, e-every charge. My assets were β¦ I finally convinced them I was innocent. They said I had to go, give up everything. I remember it was a Wedn

This was a surprisingly good read. Towards the end they discuss the need for diversity in gaming and what this game has taught the industry regarding it. I havenβt played the game, but sounds like itβs having a big impact on the board game industry.
The Surprise Hit Board Game Thatβs Transforming and $11 Billion Industry
Just wondering if anyone else noticed how strange it was that the people posing as Tom Keen and his brother Craig Keen have the same real first name.
Itβs revealed in season 1x18 that Craigβs real name is Christopher Maly, and later in season 3x22 that Tomβs birth-name was Christopher Hargrave.
While itβs possible The Major or Berlin may have figured out Tomβs real identity, his tracks were properly covered, and weβre given no reason to believe the two could ever trace him back to the Hargrave family.
Therefore, do you think the supposed placing of these two Christophers in Elizabethβs life was actually intentional or just pure coincidence?
SFF here means all speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, horror, alternate history, magical realism etc).
The following SFF books will be published in the U.S. in October 2021. Other countries may differ. They are mostly new releases, but occasionally there is a re-release or a new edition of a previously published book.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
