Went on service call at a location at a mall with water source air handler, discovered duct work was sweating pretty bad "lack of air flow" I pulled the blower panel off and Holy shit I found the most disgusting blower wheel I've ever seen.

Mousehouse Prius update! One more nest extricated from the HV battery cooling duct. Blower motor cleaned. I think the lack of decent air flow could have tripped an overheat sensor and caused the no-start/red triangle/problem...

When a human immunity cell sticks to a bad cell, how much physical force per area there needs to be to overcome blood flow's tearing force and how much there can be with some disease? Newtons per square meter? White blood cell vs duct tape, which is stronger?
Presumably the adhesive strength varies greatly between diseases. If the strength is near the lower limit and blood starts flowing faster because of running etc. , does that mean that white cells detach from disease and healing is interrupted badly?
How about covid-19 related sticking?
By the way, is this kind of sticking yet another hurdle in the way of making medical microbots ( 5 to 10 Β΅m wide ) that cure disease? Microbots may need to stick to cells in order to determine whether they are disease and detach if not. There may have to be some kind of electrically contolled "gecko feet" that switches on or off based on the programming of the device. That sticking might be part of the identification process while other measurements provide more information that helps avoid false positives and false negatives.

Measure Air Flow Out of Duct?
Hi, I need to measure air flow out of ducting, similar to a dryer exhaust. I've got a few ideas, but so I don't reinvent the wheel, is there a "standard" way of doing this?
Thanks for your input!

Dust collection ducts with flow switch?
Hello. I'm looking to upgrade my dust collection system and need a simple flow switch. Wanted to get switches like the white and blue ones shown here on the front of this guy's work table. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find them anywhere. Any leads on where to score some? Thanks!!

This is Salem. She is about four months old. She was just spayed on Tuesday and while she was under they looked at her right eye to see what was causing excess tears to flow, and it turns out that she was born without the lower tear duct in her right eye. Also some funny pictures of her.

HVAC ducts. Low flow
http://imgur.com/gallery/Ca0gYhh
So I have had a flow problem in a couple rooms since I moved to the house. Turns out my blower is wired to a medium speed and my supply ducts were put together wrong apparently. I attached a drawn picture of the supply plenum right after HVAC that branches out to multiple ducts.
As you can see the biggest duct at the very top supplies to the rooms on the opposite side of the house, but it's directly in the flow of air from the HVAC. Is that normal? Or should I re do the plenum and move the largest duct to one of the sides and keep the top closed? I think that's why I have very low flow to the ducts at the bottom besides the fact my blower is not putting out enough CFM as it should be. Which I will fix eventually.

How aero ducts are shaped different at the front for each manufacturer. NASCAR completed parity testing in mid-January to determine final placement/sizes. Back half is same for all. Same amount of air flows through for each manufacturer.

Is adding a duct fan to increase air flow in a room worth the hassle?
My house has an addition i'm using as a bedroom that gets very little airflow. Would adding one of those fans in the duct help? For reference addition is on a crawl space with the flexible ducting.

Room over garage is far from the furnace, air at register is barely warm but does flow rather well. Could an inline duct fan be the solution?
Home built in 1998. Goodman furnace 2 years old. The room is 270sqft and has one register which is on the wall opposite the 3 windows. This room will be 52 degrees on a 20 degree day if I close the door. With the door open it will be around 58, mostly from air from the hallway making its way inside. The trunk line from the furnace for the second floor is 7inch in the basement and is still 7inch at this rooms register. The other rooms upstairs receive a lot of heat while only blowing slightly more forcefully. Insulation in the crawlspace where this rooms line is appears more than sufficient. That being said, it is over a garage and therefore exposed on 5 sides.
I need this room to be comfortable as it will become my toddlers room around October. I'm not terribly concerned about this room during the summer since it only varies from the rest of the house by being hotter by about 7-8 degrees. There is a ceiling fan and the windows can be opened for that.
Does it seem like adding an inline booster for this room would be the answer? Or would it just blow cool air more forcefully in the winter? Where should it be positioned?
I have received quotes for mini-splits for this room but am possibly willing to try a $100 fix before dropping $4,000.

[Help] low air flow to one room from duct
Hey guys,
Hope this is the right place to post!
My house has a room that gets little to no air flow from the ducts. Ever since they were put in years ago. 1960s
Is there a good way to look for blockage, closing, or can this happen by the nature of the duct shape?
The duct is one in the middle of the layout in a ranch style house.
Let me know if you need any additional information!
Thank you!

Tip for clogged ducts
Clogged duct and nothing seems to be clearing it? Try a vibrator.
Just wanted to share something that worked well for me. I have been trying to clear one side all day. I tried nursing, pumping, the haaka trick, warm compress, and nothing was working. I was googling for other ideas and came across lactation vibrators. Of course, I didn't have one of those, but I did have a regular old wand vibe. It worked! pumping with vibration applied to the clogged area. Who knew!
