A list of puns related to "Disney XD (Latin American TV channel)"
I'm looking for this cartoon or animated show that aired when Disney XD launched. It was about these two kids that imagined scenarios. It was kinda like Phineas and Ferb I think. Two brothers but instead of building impossible things they just... imagined them, like in that SpongeBob episode with the box.
I think they had a sister as well? And they might have lived in a mansion. It's basically nothing to go on but I already checked the Wikipedia article for all the shows aired on Disney XD and found fuck all. It's getting frustating. The show wasn't even good because I don't remember it airing for that long.
I just want to check it out once again after all these years.
All three are available by installing through a web browser.
This is a long shot, but since this community is interested in veo politics, do you guys know any podcasts/channels for outsiders interested in Latin America politics/culture with a similar vibe to our bois CMilk/Winston? Looking for both English and Spanish speaking channels.
Im wondering if there are any Spanish channels similar to Nexpo that I can enjoy. I very much enjoy content like Nexpoβs and other creators in that genre. I just want to share similar videos to my parents, since they donβt really understand much English. If there is any channels, please recommend them to me, it helps a bunch.
Mine are La Capital, CuriosaMente and MaxiLunaPMY
Our Spanish team most of the time are trying to mimic what they say on the English feed.
This Friday.. DASHA.. By God she.. Like she is a big follower of Latin American wrestlers and that passion bled in the commentary and I personally saw a new more involved spanish team...
Anyone else watching the Spanish feed?
Like finally we get out our Tazz Excalibur in Spanish :3
CartoonNetwork HD, Nick HD, DisneyXD HD, PBS HD, History HD, etc.
When did the networks get rid of them? I don't remember but I know it was a long time ago. I'd assume 2008'ers don't even know the little "HD" text existed next to their favorite cable channel logo at one point.
Edit: The reason I ask about it being on par with Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad is because with the way it seems to be such a big show over in Australia, it almost seems like itβs the Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad of Australia. So I say to people when I want them to watch the show here in the states, I say βomg you have to watch this on Netflix, itβs the Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad of Australia.β In addition, I also say that the season 7 finale (the 2nd siege episode where we find out Ferguson is alive) is Wentworthβs βOzymandiasβ for any Breaking Bad fans out there.
Doraemon (or on Hungama): Movies Like Steele Troopers and Jaddu Jantermanter and original Dinosour ones were favorites.
Side Note: For Avid Followers of Doraemon a Specific Episode that I can't remember completely which had a book of premonition and told future and had some creepy coincidences and flight crashes and orange sky and shit. Please tell me some people have seen that episode.
Oye Jassie(Had Tara Sutaria)
The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir(Loved to imagine their lives and live in a hotel)
The Adventures of King Vikram(Voice of Vetal made it work for me)
Chorr Police(The only police I could root for)
Best of Luck Nikki(Had a crush on the sister(elder))
Kid vs. Kat (had One of the best endings and smartest villain)
Little Einsteins(For when I was small has some amazing songs)
Jake and the Never Land Pirates(Also was something I liked when I was a kid)
Sofia the First(While Trying to Change the channel and wait for my favorite shows to start)
Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil(Loved the episode with the singing small brother and Mother being an even bigger daredevil than Kick)
My personal favourite Shows Dumb but had an amazing Art Style:
I just canβt get over the cringe I get every time I see the gringoβs take on latin american countries.
Usually when Iβm expecting it, itβs easier. Like Quantum of solace for example, some parts take place in La Paz, Bolivia. I died of pure cringe but I was ready for it.
On the other hand in TV shows like Agends of Shield or Supernatural, every episode is a surprise. I just saw one of AoS that takes place in PerΓΊ. Guess what, guerrilas, violence, peruvians who sound mexican and butchering of Spanish words.
It may only be me but usually I skip those episodes. Do you feel something similar?
I grew up fondly watching both Jetix/Toon Disney and Disney XD and I actually remember being excited for Disney XD as a kid and sad that Toon Disney and Jetix were ending.
I loved watching Toon/Jetix as a kid, but I would have to say that Disney XD is overall the better channel. Disney XD had more original and memorable programming than Jetix in both the animated and live action department such as Kick Buttowski, Lab Rats, Kickinβ It, Phineas and Ferb (I know P&F premiered on Disney Channel and it did air on Toon Disney during the channel later years. However, when Disney XD came out, P&F was pushed as the flagship show of the network), Zeke and Luther, Iβm in the band, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja and more.
Although Jetix and Toon Disney did have great and unique programming such as Power Rangers, Digimon, Pucca, Ying,Yang,Yo, Naruto, Sonic X, House of Mouse and more. Most of its programming mainly consisted of European and International shows that were seen on other networks such as Fox Kids, Kids WB, Cartoon Network, 4Kids and more. I would take Disney XD in programming because not only did they also air older shows like Jetix/Toon Disney, but they also had their own unique programming that is still talked about even to this day.
In terms of TV branding such as bumpers, promos, commercials and logo, Jetix wins for me. I still to this day remember the cool Jetix logo and mascot (whatever the hell that thing was), along with the cool Jetix narrations for the promos. Disney XDβs branding was also cool, but they tried way to hard to appeal to the cool, extreme sports crowd. (the people who like rocket power and Nick GAS) Watch the early trailers for Disney XD and you will know what Iβm talking about. Jetix wins.
AEW's programmes are moving from TNT to TBS. As someone who is British, not American, can anyone tell me what this actually means for the promotion? Is one a better "fit"? Is it good news for the company and us fans?
The commentators have (understandably) been mentioning it a lot, but I don't know what it's going to mean for AEW. Thanks.
SOLVED: It's from the 11th episode of the 2nd season of Foster's Home called "Bye Bye Nerdy".
RESUELTO: Es del capΓtulo 11 de la 2da temporada de MansiΓ³n Foster, "Mac es un Nerd".
The quote is, "Has deshonrado a mi pueblo, nos batiremos en combate" which translates to "You've dishonored my village, we'll engage in combat".
I've heard this quote in an American cartoon show dubbed into Latin American Spanish. The dubbing process doesn't always translate everything perfectly (as to match the lip sync and timing of the delivery) so my English translation may not exactly match the original dialogue.

My mother in law is moving to the UK soon. I canβt find ANY way to watch Latin American TV in the UK. Happy with Live/catchup etc. Any recommendations?
Whether in the region in general, or your country specifically
And when I say realistic I don't mean that they be based in actual events, but that you would see them and conclude "yes, something like that could happen".
Recently you may be aware that Disney channel is phasing out story driven shows in favor of episodic comedies aimed at young children with future orginal DTVA serialized shows made for Disney plus . This follows in the footsteps of Cartoon Network who has recently abandoned YA seralized shows in favor of kid focused comedies. You may be saying βhey kids deserve seralized shows too. They are not dumbβ and the truth is they do. And they are getting seralized shows(like Hilda and Green eggs and Ham) but on streaming services like Netflix and Disney plus. however itβs not simply βkids donβt like serializedβ or βwe donβt like shows like amphibia or TOHβ. Itβs a lot more complicated than this and itβs based off of many basic issues that have been for the longest time. In order to fully understand we need to look at why and look at notable examples
Serialized programming in general has a major problem in terms of rerun ratings. The main reason for this is that once a person is done watching the first part of the story they will not tune in to the rerun of the episode. While shows like TOH do have rewatch ability this type of rewatch rarely happens on cable. People canβt just tune in to the episode randomly. Itβs programmed and you canβt rewatch a show on cable once itβs over(keep in mind not everyone has DVRs). This also creates lower ratings from new viewers who might be tuned in who are confused at what is happening. This is called βcontinuity lockoutβ and new viewers of the reruns are more likely to simply tune away. This is evident in the poor rerun ratings of TOH and Star Trek discovery. Throughout the decades every serialized show has had a near consistent history of getting low to poor cable ratings in reruns. Even in premieres on cable they tend to be getting lower ratings in comparison to episodic shows. These types of shows are hard to join midway through for adults and older viewers to keep up with these shows. let alone young children who have a harder time keeping up with seralized storytelling on cable. According to Scott Collins of the LA Times. "serialized storytelling ... though popular with hard-core fans and many critics, requires more dedication from viewers and has almost certainly tamped down ratings for many shows". This is evident in not only the fact that reruns of serialized shows do poorly but the shows that are doing consistently well are episodic. Similarly ATLA was viewed b

Hoops & Yoyo are two animated characters featured on Hallmark cards. The characters were created by Bob Holt and Mike Adair on September 11, 2003, who also voice the duo.
In 2013, Two TV Especials were made, they were called "Hoops & Yoyo Haunted Halloween" and "Hoops & Yoyo Ruin Christmas".
These two TV Specials got a Brazilian Portuguese and a Latin American Spanish Dub, that aired on Disney XD, also in 2013.
Years ago, the Brazilian Version of the Halloween Special (Known as "Halloween Assombrado de Hoops & Yoyo on Brazil) was uploaded on YouTube, but, years later, it was deleted for unknown reasons, and nobody preserved the video before getting deleted, so it's not on Wayback Machine. Today, there are images of the video, clips, a fragment, a Poorly Made YTP (possible 2), a bumper, and a promotional image from Facebook, as well the link of the vΓdeo:

Also Years ago, the Latin Spanish Version of the Halloween Special (Known as "El Halloween embrujado de Hoops & Yoyo" on Latin America) was uploaded on YouTube splited in Four Parts, recorded from a TV, and in Low Quality, but, the videos are still available.

Part 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh70YL3w55E
Halloween Special:
Brazilian Version: Partially Found
Latin Spanish Version: Found
Now the Christmas Special, the Brazilian Version (Known as "Hoops & Yoyo Arruinam o Natal"), has no clips or images, with only a Promotional Image from Facebook. The Latin Spanish Version (Known as "Hoops y Yoyo Arruinan la Navidad"), has a special Promo That Has Some Scenes from the dub, the Title Card in Spanish, a Screenshot from The Credits, and a Promotional Image from Facebook.
Christmas Version:
Latin Spanish Version: Lost (Or Partially Lost idk)
Brazilian Version: Lost
I REALLY wanna find these dubs, especially the Brazilian One, cuz I live in Brazil. I Think I remember watching the Christmas Special, but I'm not sure.
It's Been almost a Year that I'm Trying to find the Brazilian Dub, but I can't find, and I think I'm gonna give up (But I think I shouldn't, because when I searched, I didn't try to find it that much cuz of Lasiness.)
