Does anyone know of any apps described in the title available to South Africans?
Asking for a friend who made the mistake of impulsively verifying their account in the OkEx platform (in levels 1 and 2) with said personal details and made the mistake of not researching about the company beforehand.
I heard that the verification process is done quickly (like it didn't even take a day) so it sounded like a big red flag.
Now they're pretty worried although they just only did practice trading so far. Thanks!
(Side question: Is OkEx safe?)
I had my phone stolen once and it wasn't worth much but God all my accounts were on there and it was worth way more than the phone. Luckily I was able to get home and remotely wipe the phone and temporarily lock all my accounts.

I’ve been reading recently that some governments, including the EU and China, are looking to issue their own digital currencies, as private ones (like those issued by Facebook or Alibaba) and crypto are a threat to central bank control.
Can anyone explain how a CBDC would be different from online banking and the virtual money most of us having sitting in accounts?
I infer from the articles I’ve read that there certainly is a difference but I’d like to understand it.
