A list of puns related to "Diego Valeri"
They just announced it at the track today.
... who doesn't shave his legs?

Since our city is currently under siege by federal agents, I think now is as good a time as any to bring up the Dirty War in Argentina. It's what Diego is referring to in that tweet.
Memory, Truth, and Justice is the slogan used by Argentines when they talk about tactics used by the military dictatorship that ruled the country during much of the Cold War era (with heavy involvement of the US government).
Juts like the brave mothers who we have seen marching on the Justice Center in downtown, in Buenos Aires mothers of people who were disappeared (something like 30,000 people unaccounted for) by the dictatorship marched on the Plaza de Mayo in the city, demanding to know where their children were. They marched every Thursday for thirty fucking years.
They call it the Dirty War because aside from the usual spate of back alley killings, brutalization of protesters, jailing of activists, pillage of indigenous land by multinational corporations, murder of priests who preached liberation theology and one-way helicopter rides out to sea, the dictatorship did something even more fucked up than these atrocities.
If an activist had a young child, or was pregnant with one, they sometimes had the child stolen into the family of someone in the military or other position of power. There are at least 126 confirmed cases of people finding out that their biological parents were murdered by the regime while they were raised sometimes by the very person responsible for the death of their actual parents.
The evil that happened in Argentina--and many other countries in Latin America during the 20th century, and onwards to today--happened in part to our tax dollars at work. Trump's decision to send federal agents into our city and arrest people in unmarked cars is way, way too close for comfort. This is the path it leads.
I'm just glad that we have so many decent human beings in this city. Keep looking out for each other, keep standing up for what is right and what is decent. I know that Diego, even if he can't march with us because he's busy doing Maestro things on the pitch, is proud of us.
Hasta la victoria!
If he’s on your team, keep your eyes open for the lineups
