Hi Reddit, My name is Emma Napper, and over the last 5 years I have been part of the team working on Sir David Attenborough's latest BBC America series Seven Worlds, One Planet. As part of this team, I was given the chance to film animals of all shapes and sizes both in the deserts and jungles of Australia and the secret spots of South East Asia, capturing new stories of the animals who make these isolated places their home.

Arizona hopi native with his throwing stick, with a range of 5 meters, it could easily take a rabbit in the desert, and was considered better than a bow. Similar weapon are of course found in Australia, but also other North America native, South Asian and Sahara people used it extensively.
