I got pitched into signing up to save on a flights baggage today... I found out they reduced the limit on my one card and just opened the second (damn). I have a blue cash everyday and I had a platinum that I closed after a year 4 years ago so I wasnt eligible for the signup bonus... any advice? sorry if this is a stupid question! I just dont want any serious repercussions. I am a medical student and have no money to pay for annual fees at this time. thank you all so much

Hi! Flying from LAX to BOS next week and I've actually never flown JB but very curious.

The flights are the same price and nonstop. Which one would you choose?

I was leaning towards Delta (bc I have lounge access in case flight gets delayed).

Hello everyone!

I’ve been debating on getting a credit card for travel. I’ll start off by saying I don’t travel all that much. I do make the occasional trip to Europe to see my family. With that being said I fly Delta whenever I do travel, as living in Atlanta makes using Delta seamless.

I don’t necessarily think I’m ready for the gold card(I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the annual fee). I played with the thought of getting the blue to start, then in the future request an upgrade.

1. Is blue worth even considering, or should I go straight to gold when ready?

2. If I do the blue, will Amex upgrade me?

My credit is high 700’s, no neg accounts either.
