A list of puns related to "Deen Castronovo"
Neal is all over Instagram these days, and he replies to most comments!
Someone mentioned Message of a love and Neal said it was Deen who played on it. Iβve gone all these years thinking it was just Smitty on Trial By Fire.
Listening back, it totally sounds like Deen. I wonder if heβs on any other tunes
So I bought a DW collector's kit at a local music shop for around $3,500 about five years ago now. The shop was advertising it as played by Deen Castronovo of Journey, with a one of a kind finish (Apparently DW had custom made this kit just for him.) I believe this due to the fact that A. He lives in the area and was kicked out of the band around that time due to drug use and domestic violence. B. The finish is a very bizarre purple/dark green that I've never seen on any kit in person or online. And C. The drum diameters are 22 kick, 22 mounted tom, 18 floor tom, 14 rack tom, and 8 rack tom. Those are weird sizes you can't just get off Sweetwater. I'm no expert in woods but I'm 95% sure it's maple.
I'm thinking of selling it, and was wondering what you guys think I should charge for it?
Edit - So after looking around for photos the best quality one I've found is the photo in this article. It's a super low quality photo but that's definitely the kit. The place I bought it from was probably selling just a few of the drums from the larger kit as a complete set.
The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.
Because 10+10 is twenty and 11+11 is twenty too..
Edit: thank you for awards, I have never gotten one before. I apologize that this is a repost, I did see it on TikTok and thought that it was cute and wanted to share. In the future I will check the sub for similar content before I post anything.

True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"

.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.

Edit: Thank you for the awards.
He replied, "Well, stop going to those places then!"
I will find you. You have my Word.
She said how do you know he was headed to work?
