A list of puns related to "David Paterson"
Hello and good evening Nova Scotia!
We are four NSNDP candidates running in the upcoming Nova Scotia general election.
Christina McCarron is running in Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank.
Jacob Wilson is running in Bedford Basin.
Tammy Jakeman is running in Eastern Passage.
David Paterson is running in Bedford South.
A little bit about us:
Hello, my name is Christina McCarron and I am the nominated NDP candidate in the riding of Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank in the upcoming provincial election. I have lived, worked and volunteered in this community for the past 22 plus years. I am the mother of three adult children and my passions include health, nutrition, fitness and recreation. I enjoy walking my puppy on our local trails, swimming in our clean lakes, skating, biking, hiking, yoga, dancing, weight lifting and spending time with my family. Some of my additional interests include socializing with friends, singing and enjoying live music. I am a crafty person who is always busy with some project or another; sewing, scrapbooking, knitting or creating beach glass treasures.
I am a strong advocate for: women and childrenβs rights; eliminating domestic violence; improving access to affordable housing; the end of isolation of seniors; wildlife and forest restoration; clean lake and ocean waters; homeless people; access to affordable mental health and substance abuse assistance; and kick-starting our economy, to name just a few.
Jacob Wilson is a construction worker, dedicated activist, community organiser, former academic, and relentless rabble rouser running in Bedford Basin. When he isnβt on a picket line, at a demonstration, or giving talks, he can be found camping, reading, or playing music. He is dedicated to pushing for permanent tenant protections and rent control, higher minimum wages, workerβs rights, better environmental action and respect for indigenous rights.
Tammy Jakeman (she/her) is a 27 year resident of Eastern Passage and as a military brat, itβs the longest sheβs lived anywhere. She is married to her partner Ron, a lifelong resident of the Eastern Passage/Cow Bay area, and together theyβve raised two amazing humans, David and Mary, who are having their own life adventures.
Tammyβs been an Education Program Assistant with HRCE for 14 years, working with the most amazing kids! It requires her to think outside the box and work collaboratively with others on all levels. For many years at a community level Tammyβs worked quietly b
I thought this interview with Gov. Paterson was a really refreshing look back at what a moderate and civil time in politics looked like. I don't identify as a Democrat but Paterson is a guy I could see myself having a great conversation with. Check out some his untold stories from his time in office on the POZcast show here:
