Replaying th1+2 has been amazing. I can't be the only one craving this.

After a weekend full of playing the THPS 1+2 demo and reminiscing on old times I realized that they should also make a remastered version of the Dave Mirra Bmx games. That is all.
My friend built this in honor of BMX legend Dave Mirra. I challenged him to use Tensegrity in a build since I'd seen it on here. I do believe he knocked this way out of the park, IMHO.

I had an old BMX magazine that had a very Lsmall photo sequence of Dave Mirra doing a trick on a backyard vert ramp. I've been trying to find that image sequence ever since. From what I can remember, it had an antique type filter on it, mostly black and white or brown sepia tone. Now for the trick.
Dave did a 270° out of the half pipe and went up and over the 2x4 guardrail into an ice pick grind IN REVERSE. Then casually completes the rotation and drops back in the ramp. So in short it was a reverse ice pick grind on the opposite side of the guardrail.
Any help would be appreciated. That trick has always stuck out in my mind and I'd love to see it again.
I have just gone back and played these games I really feel the Dave Mirra games were much better. They had more variety of things to do a better soundtrack and overall were just a much more fun experience. I felt that when I played them originally and I feel the same way now.

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 was released on all the consoles of the era. The version you wan't is the Gamecube, it has all the levels (PS2 missing Greenville & Venise). First you have to track down your ''legitimate'' GameCube copy of the game and use a cd drive to rip the game data into a .ISO file. The reason you wan't to do that is so that the FBI don't bust down your door. This will require special software and good knowledge of computers. Or you could just check that google drive link and end up in jail you filthy criminal ^(WINK WINK!)****.
After that you have to download an emulator, the Gamecube one is called Dolphin https://dolphin-emu.org/. I am sure you can figure out how to download and install it on your computer. The FBI won't bust down your door for that.
Dolphin Emulator Configuration:
The first thing you will want to do is adjust the graphic plugin, click on the graphics button.

While in there you want to make sure the back end is set on Open GL (hardware) or Direct 3D 11. Set the full-screen res to your monitor's resolution. I suggest turning V-Sync on too while you are there.

After that go to the next widget called ''Enhancements'', this is where you make the game look better than the blurry 480p pixelated mess you got as a kid. Crank that internal resolution up and add some anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.

After you are done click ''close'' at the bottom and move to the config section.
