A list of puns related to "Daniel Bryan"
Just a random feel-good thought that I had. This time 4 years ago:
5 wrestlers that were thought to be medically incapable of ever wrestling again are all back in the ring and working at a high level too, and the return of Punk is the icing on the cake. The last couple of years have been rough, but being able to see those 6 do their thing again is the stuff of dreams!
I think a returning Moxley would be the best bet. But who do you think in AEW can have a great feud with Page especially since his current feud is so awesome.
Just consider his WWE run and not the indies. Overall, he is easily one of the greatest of all times!
Dave notes this is despite Vince most likely not knowing what the G1 tournament is when he made that promise.
Dave also writes Bryan was motivated by wanting to build the industry as a whole by joining a strong competitor with his final decision being made when Nick Khan could not get the deal done to make WWE the exclusive provider of North American talent to New Japan. WWE had not wanted AEW talent working for New Japan if they were sending their wrestlers over. Staying with WWE would thus have meant Danielson could not work for New Japan.
I mean HOLY SHIT after that 60 minute banger from Winter is Coming, it pretty much cemented it for me. DB/BD is SO DAMN GOOD at what he does. The fact that he hasnt missed a beat is still so astounding to me.
Only if he gets as over as Bryan, of course.
Please don't banish me from the Island of Relevancy.
I'm going to keep this short and overly simplistic just for sake of time and with the assumption, you are all familiar with these men's time in WWE. Where the company didn't want both to be ''The guy'' but WWE pull the trigger on one and not the other.
Zack Ryder basically got over with a lot of grassroots effort by honestly being ahead of his time by using social media to get himself over with his youtube channel. There were constant chants of Zack Ryder in most episodes on raw with the rock even acknowledged at one point in survivor series 2011. But ultimately he got buried by WWE and John Cena and his moment has never risen again. You can argue he is everything WWE would want in a main eventer. Tall, Pretty, charismatic, and got himself over.
Daniel Bryan is kinda similar to where fans would hijack shows on raw because they wanted Bryan to either win the WWE championship or the royal rumble. Ultimately he got to win the WWE championship multiple times and even main event Wrestlemania twice. So overall why did Bryan succeed but Ryder did not? What factors were at play that I'm not taking into account?
EDIT: the same question can apply to Dolph Ziggler too
No, i dont see whats wrong about my Statement.
I love pro wrestling! What a great time to be a fan!
Itβs simply incredible to see how completely wrong they are about this sub.
Damn Vince for not listening to the fans! And by fans, I mean me and not the average WWE TV viewer and/or paying customer.
Daniel Bryan pins Adam Page in 26 seconds. Gets nuclear heat, Adam Page eventually earns a rematch but is cheated out of it. 5 months later at the biggest PPV of the year Page earns another shot and wins fairly over the biggest star in the company. Page is a star and Bryan has the most heat in the company. PPV buy rate is through the roof.
I wonder if he actually revealed what that announcement was supposed to be? Did he ever get asked that by any interviewer at any point?
