A list of puns related to "Croesus"
Has anyone else had this issue?
I just finished a 2 hour Croesus public instance run and went to check my chest but it was completely empty except for my T3 Bik troves (no common loot or rare drops in chest). I've done plenty of Croesus kills and always claimed all the loot after the end of the session with no issues.
Normally I wouldn't be too upset but I managed to get a foultorch drop during the run and it completely disappeared as well (no broadcast in CC but appeared in my chat box and is in my drop log).
After I finished my last kill and went to clear out the chest I noticed all my loot from that last kill was on the ground so I'm assuming that this had been happening the whole 2 hours and that's where my foultorch went :(
Just thought I'd post this incase it's a wider issue & it might be worthwhile checking after any big Croesus drops to make sure you don't miss them.
I sent in a lost item request & I'll update with what happens :)
Edit (Moved screenshot into main post):
I thought I'd post a link to a screenshot I grabbed the next kill. As you can see the loot is all on the ground (unfortunately the drop where I got the foultorch had already despawned).
Please don't make us wait years for skilling aura resets, just add the pre-existing general aura resets to weekly challenge chest rewards so we can have some.
The Premier reset once per day is not enough. And exclusive to Premier club.
Just like how both Sanaβs Fyrtorch and Orthen Furnace Core can burn sticky fungus without using logs, I would think that giving the Corehammer the same function as the Artificerβs Measure in this boss fight would give it an additional use.
I think I might be missing something. I just got to City of Senntisten after the Quest and was exploring and I saw some dead bosses in Croesus Lair like Arraxi, Mole, Daggonoth King and Leviathan. Can someone explain why there are some dead bosses are they even in there? I tried looking at the Wiki but couldn't find evidence. Thank you in advance.
The Seedicide and Charming Imp are QOL rewards that are anti-QOL at Croesus, as they intercept drops that would otherwise go to the chest and send them to your inventory. This ends up clogging the inventory (which you want to be relatively clear to do the boss) with drops, often times meaning the best option is to drop the charms/seeds to make space. Can there be some check to stop this from happening?
So i was doing some croesus public instances. someone joined that had not done a kill before.
People was getting so mad and abusive at them for messing up instead of offering advice. Why are people so toxic instead of offering help.
Just come back after a few month hiatus and interested in trying Croesus. I notice that the skilling outfits are recommended.
On the wiki it says
How important are they?
Is it best to have all of them or do I only need a few?
I ask because I don't have complete ones (close to fury shark and magic golem) and wanted to know if they would be required.
I have a dillema - my stats are mid level, but I'm not a learner (40+ kc) . Croesus fc expects maxed players. Where do I find a team suited to my level?
Greetings!

At this point skilling auras should be added to the marks of war shop aswell since their used at croesus
Okay, so i've heard this everytime i've done 4-man or public. People say that fishing and mining are the slowest and hunter is the fastest with wc right under it. Is there any truth to this? And should I go with hunter instead of fishing from now on? (i'm 99 fishing and 98 hunter)
yday we had a helmet drop that did not appear in the chest, today some1 recieved the pet but again it did not appear in the chest.
can some mod pls look in to it (might be bugged), we made support tickets already
It seems surprising that something so fundamental as currency and coinage should emerge so late in history. Are we perhaps biased by the lack of evidence in terms of coins discovered in claiming that the Lydians invented metal coinage? What did the Egyptians or the Assyrians use for trade before this period?
Can we please have an option for vote to kick or anti trolling mechanics for croe public instances?
They are tradable and do not degrade or bind themselves to you like other items. Please make them lendable.
I tried lending the core hammer to someone earlier and got the message itβs not lendable.
If the issue is that they don't work for net fishing then change the nodes to not be net fishing
There's no reason a fishing rod you buy in Port Sarim and slap an Augmentor on should outperform a rod sung from dust using the hidden techniques of the elves, much less outperform the rod of the legendary angler Tavia
Otherwise we should start expecting more bosses to come out with t70 being the Best in Slot gear for killing them; time to bust out the old Black Sally, eh?
Ridiculous.
I tried Croesus for the first time last night and wanted to note something that I was super thankful for. The fight itself is fine, and fairly easy to learn. However, what I'm most appreciative of is that, as an Ironman, I was able to boss with my main friends who I haven't played with in a couple years! I love that this boss opens up the doors to play with people we normally wouldn't be able to.
I know that the goal of separating Ironmen from mains while bossing was to avoid making it easy for Ironmen to get gear upgrades, but you can essentially do that anyway just by bossing with other Ironmen. I would LOVE to see more instances where Ironmen and mains can group up! Another similar scenario I found where you could mix your party group was Barbarian Assault. This was a pleasant surprise while going for trim as I had friends who were both Ironman and Main who wanted to work towards the trim req.
How do you all feel about mixed parties? Does it really affect Ironman integrity anymore? I would love to hear thoughts from other people.
The Layout:
There are 4 corners in each boss fight;
The goal is to gather fungi from each corpse until it's depleted. Each corpse has 3 kind of spots; Regular, Blackened, and Glistening. They rotate every so often. You must NOT harvest the Blackened spots, they'll revert progress made to cleanse the body. There are also smaller skilling spots coming from the dead guard corpses that never rotate, but also yield much slower.
Between each corner there are two types of roads; a fungi maze, or hopping over mushrooms. The mushrooms, You must never touch any of the Fungi, or hop over mushrooms that are NOT glistening, else Croesus's "Rot Bar" will increase.
The Fight:
The goal is to funnel each statue with different types of fungi, harvested from each hotspot. Completing these statues will cut down Croesus's healthbar. These statues always require a type of fungi NOT gathered from its adjacent hotspot, so you need to rotate. You can deposit any fungi (not rot) near the statue.
The 'Rot Bar': Croesus has two bars; a Healthbar, and a Rot bar. This Rot bar must not reach 100%, else the fight is over. This rot bar rises up every time ANY player has their stats reduced through any way**.** It's important that each player tries to minimalize their stat reductions.
As well, when your stats deplete too far, you are knocked out and removed from the fight. This is displayed as a purple healthbar over your head.
Every so often, Croesus will launch attacks at you. Each of Croesus's attacks are in a FIXED order:
Spore Cloud -> Fairy Ring -> Slime Mold -> Spore Cloud -> Stunning Strike -> Sticky Fungus
Spore Cloud: Croesus flings a spore cloud at a couple of player's locations. Everyone needs to move away from the location they stand on, or have their stats reduced. Each spore cloud has a certain colour, only reducing one specific stat.
Fairy Ring: The ground trembles around you for a moment, creating dust clouds. After 3 seconds, a fairy ring appears on your location, randomly teleporting you around the area.
Slime Mold: Croesus flings a couple of blobs of living fungi. These fungi yeet themselves to a player that remains near enough to them, reducing their stats.
Stunning Strike: Croesus launches a stunning strike at each player. After a while, if that player was still stunned, your stats get reduced until you break free fro

With one week left on the tablet of Het, Iβm hoping to make as much progress with the Croesus log as possible but it has been difficult to find groups around 18:00-22:00 game time.
If youβre interested in doing some 4-man Croesus around those times then please let me know.
I tend to stick to the 2-1 strategy, but happy to change that up if others want. For those curious on what the β2-1 strategyβ is, if you go to Croesus on wiki and click on strategies, youβll find it all there!
My IGN is Lord Flyman, and if you wanna drop me a message here or DM if youβre up for it, thatβd be awesome!
Because of the bik anima buffs you now get like 100k of anima per minute, and if you have the upgraded ring then you get just under 1 fragment per hour, so that's roughly 8m for afk skilling.
Altscapers please god get on this so I can afford to upgrade my ring please and thank you
Hi,
I'd like to see what support in the community there is for adding a solo mode for the new skilling boss.
I can't commit a lot of group time to getting into teams which makes learning it in the first place difficult and then getting into a team to do it even harder if I did get the time. I fully accept that's my choice and for other group bosses happy to accept I won't be able to do them and no problem with that, however skilling is pretty much more or less a solo activity and there are some parts of the content that would be great such to use as the off-hands, book and seed bag and not being able to access them is a bit annoying.
Fully expecting a lot of down votes and that it's my problem and not Jagex's that I don't do group activity but someone has already solo'd the content so it doesn't seem too much of a stretch to adjust it to be balanced to give solo players a chance.
A solo mode doesn't detract from others group enjoyment so not harming anyone else, if there is enough support for the thread hopefully Jagex may pay attention.
TL;DR: Average profit is 37.5m/hr, taking into consideration current rare prices and luck from data. This number is likely to change, depending on luck and number of kills. ~SuityBot isn't the most reliable for rare prices, but is better than the GE, and numbers are heavily estimated to give a better representation of profit.
Loot table from 1470 KC during 4-man kills (courtesy of u/TheMaxCape)
I decided to break down u/TheMaxCape's screenshot of his 1470 Croesus KC to determine actual profits, taking into consideration active GE prices of armor and scriptures using SuityBot (I know prices there can vary greatly, but numbers are highly estimated so it'll give you a very rough estimate of potential profit. Link to his original post here. KC is rounded to 1,500 for simplicity's sake, and to give a buffer for potential inaccuracies in GE prices.
Total actual loot in rares (using SuityBot): ~4.46b
Value of commons based on GE price in picture: ~3b
Total loot based on this screenshot for non-ironmen: ~7.5b
Rounding to 1500 kc for this loot, assuming a slightly slower 7.5 kills/hr:
All in all, I'd say this boss is very profitable for being the first skilling boss. Input costs are low, and there's very few barriers to entry related to gear - skilling outfits help and augmented tools help as well, but this cost is minimal compared to potential billions of GP in gear for other bosses. Also, stat requirements aren't bad for anyone who enjoys skilling and is looking for a fun activity revolving around them.
GP rates will depend heavily on luck, but also prices of gear; prices will likely fall as the supply continues to rise. Also, over 50% of the profit from this data is in rares, so this data looks heavily at long-term killing. However, even 15m/hr in commons is pretty solid; however, this number will likely fall as the commons dropped here are crashing since release.
TLDR: New +3 stat boosting potions require 88+ in certain skills to gather the ingredients. I think it would be nice to have it changed to something else more reasonably gatherable.
The potions themselves are great to finally have in game, but the requirements to get the ingredients for *basic* stat boosting potions is simply too high to call reasonable by any means. For note, this is especially annoying for ironmen characters.
Woodcutting Potion for example: It takes level 49 Herblore to make it, which is fine as is. In order to get the ingredient to make it though you need a Woodcutting level of 88, and that is for a potion that will only boost your skill by 3. By the time you get to 88, or are able to boost to it by other means, the use of a simple +3 boost is basically none at all. Now you can boost for 1 minute of being able to chop elder trees.
Super Woodcutting Potion: Requires 71 Herblore to make, and requires 91 Woodcutting to gather the ingredient. At that level, with a +5 boost, it could help you with is a Nourished/Sated Effigy, Crystal Tree and Golden Bamboo.
Mining Potion: Requires 51 Herblore to make, but requires 88 mining to get the ingredient. Again for a boost of +3 which at most would allow you to mine a little faster, or mine Animica for a minute before it runs under.
Super Mining Potion: Requires 74 Herblore to make, and *91* mining to gather the ingredient. At that level, with a +5 boost, the only thing it could help you with is a Nourished/Sated Effigy.
In comparison, there are many other stat boosting potions that the ingredients are gathered much easier.
Agility Potion: +3 to Agility, Toad legs and Toadflax unf. potion.
Cooking Potion: +3 to Cooking, Cooked Swordfish and Harralander unf. potion.
Crafting Potion: +3 to Crafting, Frog Spawn and Wergali unf. potion.
Divination Potion: +3 to Divination, Rabbit Foot and Spiritweed unf. potion.
I'm not going to list all of the basic stat boosting potions and ingredients, but if you're still reading I hope you get my point. At the very least, basic stat boosting potions should not require level 80+ to gather the ingredients for. It devalues the use of the potion in general, and level locks them for all iron accounts or people who don't like using the G.E. a lot. No one else seemed to be saying anything about this so I just wanted to put it out there.
Have not been able to test Kerapac/Croesus fights themselves as can only afk at the moment however I have tried both my afking of NM+1 Arch-Glacor and the Fishing spot at the Croesus Front and I can confirm that the drop rate of the Anima from the Arch-glacor has increased (got about 4k in 1 hour) which used to be about 6hrs+ of afking amount while at the fishing spot I'm still only getting around 1 Anima around every minute or so.
Defiantly feels like the way it's coded anything that is killed got buffed while the skilling plots have a different drop coding which was forgotten
