The number of comments made in this community that state something along the lines of: "The eShop is closing this month" is insane and people need to know this isn't the case.
Yes, you can still buy games on the eShop. Yes, you can keep downloading games and use all eShop services. The only thing that is changing as of now is that those who are using the Japanese eShop will have to use prepaid eShop cards to purchase eShop games starting Jan 18th 2022.
No, this doesn't mean the eShop is closing in Japan (or anywhere else). It simply means the method of purchase will be different. I will say this move does signal the beginning of Nintendo phasing out the 3DS eShop, but any termination of the eShop will be announced well in advance.
TL;DR: No, the eShop is not closing this month. Nintendo will say when its closing far in advance. The only upcoming change is the end of credit card purchase through Japan's eShop for 3DS.
Pay by plate: my credit card keeps getting declined because of wrong billing address. There is no option to change my billing address and the only data entered is zipcode for the credit card. This has been going on for a month and support isn't even reading the emails.
Anyone else had this issue? I've tried re adding the vehicle, card, and creating a new account to no avail. It would be sick if they could use some of their almost $700M budget to be able to bill people properly.

Just got a message from Coinbase that it is a real issue and they are working on the glitch. But using the app works to get your money out.

The Euro wallet is still not loading on my computer.
For several days now I cannot withdraw euros. The euro wallet page simply does not load and I keep getting an error message that they have „connection problems“.
I have sent a screenshot to support, but I just got the response below that does not address my problem at all.
In the portfolio overview I can see my euros, I can still use them to buy crypto, i can sell crypto and it loads into the euro wallet and I just uploaded 100 euros from my account and I got a message they have arrived.
But whenever I go to the euro wallet I get „connection problems“ error message.
I have been with coinbase since 2018 and NEVER had any problems. I have recommended coinbase to many people and we are all using it without problems so far.
One problem is that on the help page I cannot choose the option „wallet page does not load“. I can only choose cannot withdraw to my account.
Please help, this is a major problem, it really feels like Coinbase has liquidity issues and is locking y money into their system.

I understand it was stupid of me to get my hopes up when seeing the initial top-lines of the reconciliation bill and expecting it to get passed about 80% intact, but I still think it's been pretty insane just how much leeway 2 senators are being given in negotiations when normally such a small group of people could only hope to make marginal changes to such an important bill.
I cannot possibly fathom a world in which Warren and Bernie haggle for a 5% billionaire wealth tax to be put into a bill and congress ends up giving them a 2% billionaire wealth tax as a compromise - they'd be laughed out of the room entirely.
I know that in the modern history of congress that progressives have caved to establishment demands nearly 100% of the time, but do you think now would be a good time to change that? Everything in the Build Back Better plan is objectively popular and unambiguously good for the country, so one would think standing up for those things should paint it's supporters in a warm light.
Surely this kind of battle can't end the same way forever, right? Should the progressives try to change the narrative now by leveraging their power in the house to tank an inadequate, and frankly insulting, proposal?
Where were its allies also? Its not like its a weak country, its one of the most powerful in the world.
TurboTax was a good option to file US income taxes for free the past few years. They have left the Free File Alliance and no longer support free filing.
I thought Credit Karma Tax might be a good alternative, but it does not meet the needs of overseas filers.

I had no reason to believe anything was wrong when I was told I would receive help to pay my rent back in 2020. When I notified UC that I did not need any benefits anymore as I was back in full time work my claim was quickly reviewed and I got a letter from DWP saying I owe them just under £4000.
After contesting the decision I received a letter today review my reconsideration request.
I understand now that I do not meet the requirements, but the letter states nonetheless that it is a mistake on their part.
It also states that the current legislation authorises the DWP to recover the overpayment from the claimant even if this overpayment was caused by the DWP given their duty to protect public funds.
Again I understand, but I am under a lot of stress to support myself, I work as a waitress to pay my rent and save a bit of money, and this means I am studying my maths degree over 5 years. Due to this situation £4000 is a huge amount of money for me, and I do not understand how they can expect me to just be able to afford it. I did not spend this money on frivolous things, it was the lifeline to prevent me from being homeless.
If I want to contest the decision I have a month to appeal, according to the DWP letter, to the social security and child support tribunal. Is it worth fighting this ? Or will I lose even more money ?

We all know that getting the most out of your gear is important to any agent in the field, and sometimes a lot of planning (and difficult decisions) goes into ensuring your equipment is maximized and ready for a fight.
While we know this will be much clearer once you see it in action, we'll today do our best to explain this new feature through this first glimpse article!
##What is Expertise?
Expertise is a new way for agents to further develop the performance of their gear, weapons, and skill variants. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to improve the Grade of your equipment and directly increase their base stats for greater efficiency.
Of course, this feature will be complementary to the existing crafting & optimization systems to give you a new way to gain power while using your items on the field. Expertise will be available from the Recalibration Station in the Base of Operations or Haven through a dedicated new Expertise tab.
How does the Expertise feature work?
- With the new Expertise feature, you will be able to increase the Grade of an item, brand or gear set to increase its base stats, for example with base damage bonuses for a weapon.
- The number of times you will be able to increase the Grade of these items will be equal to your Expertise Level.
- To earn Expertise Level, you will need to gain Proficiency Ranks by using an item, brand or gear set in combat - or by investing resources into researching them.
- Once you reach the maximum Proficiency Rank for said equipment, you will become Proficient with it.
- It is important to note that you may only improve the Grade of items, brands, and gear sets you are Proficient with.
Through this feature, we want to encourage players to experience new builds and playstyles without penalizing those who prefer to stick to their favorite one.
We will now share some more in-depth information about this feature and how you will be able to develop your expertise moving forward.
