On paper, this game looks like another really solid W, but, in reality, its actually a lot more.
This win proves that Dallas is talented enough (on both sides of the ball) to put themselves in a position to win certain games. I wouldn't go as far as to say they are good enough to win without Dak, but they have AT LEAST shown they are capable and competent enough to compete against a middle of the road team.
Which is exactly why Dak shouldn't touch the field for 2 more weeks. Dak is my guy, and if he isn't YOUR guy, he should be. But, a playoff game in January means wayyyy more to me than a home game in mid season against Denver or Atlanta. Let Rush run the offense, at least next week in a HOME game against a 4-4 Broncos team dealing with a backup QB and their share of injuries. If Dallas can sneak out a win, let him run it back again against a [.500 at best] Atlanta Falcons team that just lost their #1 WR to retirement. Smart move, IMO. Cooper Rush might not be "the guy", but Dak Prescott certainly is, and I'm protecting my guy at all costs.
TL/DR: Sit Dak for 2 weeks for load management. He comes back healthy and 100% for a 3 week slugfest against Chiefs , Raiders, Saints.
