Correction: Article 11

During the lead up to and actual secession, what did all the members of congress from the states which had seceded do? Did they head off to the Confederate congress? Did they continue representing their states and acknowledge some as rebels?

EDIT: That should have read 1864 not 1964, and there ought to have been a “recently” after that “fairly” as well.

The hearts of these princes were hardened against Leonidas, and they quarreled long into the night. The elders among them would not be ruled by a man young as he and claimed that he meant to make bondmen and slaves of them all, and Leonidas did answer “I come not to make bondmen out of thee, but brothers. For thy fields and herds I have no interest, for thy tenants and servants I wish only thou treat them as thine own children. Valor and arms is all I would demand, for I know that neither are much lacking in southern menfol

It is widely accepted that the economy failed due to the lack of taxes and that Shay's Rebellion was unable to be put down efficiently due to the lack of a centralized military, both of which are parts of the libertarian ideology. (No Taxes, and no centralized military.) How would you address the shortcomings of the Articles of Confederation, and how would you defend it?

My understanding is that the United Federation of Planets is similar to the United Nations, but with planets. That doesn't sound like a federation to me since the planets are, as far as I know, still sovereign entities. Wouldn't calling the UFP a confederation be more correct?

I’m currently working on a map for a game I play in which the setting is a world where the AoC was never scrapped for the constitution. In short, the union only continued as a sort of “alliance” between states that raged on as practically independent nations. I used this map made by u/Reginald_T_Parrot as an initiatory frame of reference, but I was wondering if Europe, Africa, South America, or even Asia would look drastically different in the turn of the century (1800s) from what it was
