Bills Mafia,
Just moved back to Buffalo after being away for almost a decade, looking to join a womenβs ice hockey team, preferably level B. Played in college and in competitive leagues after (graduated 2015). Not sure if COVID is having an impact on leagues this year. Thanks! Go Bills.
I drive the zam and maintain the ice and do general building maintenance before, during, and after hockey games. I work year round, even out of season for maintenance.
Here is some proof of me with the zam, hope itβs enough for you guys! Not sure how else to prove it: https://imgur.com/a/UoiWwno
Good morning!
I'm looking for a good pair to ride around the paved roads in my neighborhood and town, don't plan on going too long of distances. Budget of 150$-250$. Want to take my dog with me, he might want a pair too lol
I'm a former hockey player, saw some people talking about raised wheels, not sure if that is something I should look into. Or if I just need a regular pair with road wheels.
I saw 80mm was the standard size but I'm a large male that wears a size 12.5 shoe with wide feet.
Looked at inlineskates.com and roller warehouse but not necessarily sure what I need.
BONUS QUESTION: My GF wants to skate too, she is tiny and wants a beginner pair. She says she knows how to skate but I don't believe her. Any recommendations for her as well?
Thank you, have a great weeked!
Ice hockey in Japan started in the 1920s. Teams have been competing in the All Japan Championships since 1930, making the tournament one of the oldest sporting competitions in the country.
Professional hockey arrived in 1966 with the Japan Ice Hockey League. Originally a five-team league, the JIHL expanded to six teams in 1974 and stayed that way until tough economic times led to budget cutbacks and eventually the demise of the league in 2004. The 38-year-old JIHL was abandoned in favor of Asia League Ice Hockey which still exists today. Teams like the Nippon Paper Cranes had good success in hockey (until Covid lead to financial difficulties).
