UConn defeated the former champions, University of Montana, 6-5 to 1-13. The Huskies played an excellent series, going 4-0.
All teams in the tournament played their hearts out and it was truly an honor to play against them.
I'm so proud of this team and what we have accomplished this year. I only just joined this year, so seeing the drive and dedication of these men and women and pulling it off at the end has been a great introduction to this sport.
