Clomifene (Duinum) - Will it change my ovulation date?

My doctor and I think I do ovulate, but he’s started me on 100mg of Clomifene for 5 days. My O day is typically CD24-27. I’ve seen some comments about it here saying it either brought forward or pushed back O day. Will Clomifene potentially bring the date I ovulate forward significantly and change my fertile window? I’m not sure when I should start tracking using OPKs now as I would typically start testing around CD18 or 19. Any advice or links to relevant posts? I would very much appreciate it! Thank you.

1 month on clomifene

hi.

a month ago right before taking clomifene i asked you guys what to expect.

i have been taking it for a month and got a blood test done. my results seem to be too much, i think the dose should be lowered to half or third but i dont see my doctor until oct.28 and dont want to lower it without his approval. is it going to cause a heavy load to my liver or kidneys?

here are my test results:

https://imgur.com/jo6Rfh6

as u can see free % and bioavailable % have a "*" but in reality they are not low.

it took about 3 weeks to take effect. i noticed that i can do much more physical work and it even feels good. i have lots of erections and the quality is much better. i feel more awake and energetic and have a better mood.

He prescribed clomifene 12.5 mg dayly and a lot of suplements and said it should make me feel a lot better in two weeks.

Next apointment will be in four months. If I dont feel better he will probably prescribe TRT.

What do you think? Is he in the rigth path?

Clomifen/Clomid raises B12

I am currently on clomifene to raise my test levels after years of abusing steroids.

Clomifen does wonders for my test levels, and I’ve never felt so great without steroids as I do now, and my t levels are pretty much normal.

However, I see a significant raise in B12 after I started on Clomid.

Normal B12 levels are 160 - 650 pmol/l and I’ve been steady on about 400 since 2011. Now my levels went from 400 to 700 to 1000 during a 3 month period.

My urologist who described the Clomid says it’s something he usually sees with elevated testosterone. Funny thing is that even when on Steroids when my t was way off the charts it didn’t affect b12 at all.

When studying the effects of high B12, cancer comes up, a lot.

Should I be worried?

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Dropped my best ever dad joke & no one was around to hear it

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies 😂

Sexismus, medizinische Unfähigkeit, und ein unerfüllter Kinderwunsch

Liebes Weibsvolk,

Arzt: "Wie lange probieren Sie's denn schon?"
Ich: "10 Monate."
Arzt: "Hm ok...
