Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of the old cineplex odeon that was located on fairway road, that was torn down around 10 years ago? Curious to see if the inside is how I remember it.

I think I deserve to see Air Bud 2 because dogs are cute and I really like them. If I won, I wouldn't bring Nathan because he is mean. Air Bud would never be mean. Also he never gives up. I will never give up on winning this contest either.
I've received four of these over the last few Friday/Saturday shifts. I didn't take them, because parking at theaters is a pain in the ass. You generally have to park a football field away. It wasn't worth the bother for the delivery fee offered at the time.
What amazes me most is that people are ordering overpriced theater food in the first place. It's generally well-known that theater food is hugely marked up.
I'm mostly curious how the orders are packaged for delivery. Has anyone accepted orders from Cineplex Odeon? I assume we aren't putting open bags of popcorn in our delivery bags. Are they packaged as well as McDonald's, for instance? How long are the waits? Theater lines for in-house customers can be pretty long? Do they have a special area for couriers? Are they prompt in getting the order to the courier?

From what I understand the seats are leather and more comfortable and heard they serve alcohol.
How do you find the screen sizes? I plan on taking my family of 4 along with 2-3 family friends.
How are your experiences there? Am I better off just going to St. Vital or Polo?

It is showing at the Cineplex Odeon Westhills located at 165 Stewart Green SW at 7PM. Its a first come first serve and you need to be there early to get seats.
So I went to The Last Jedi premiere tonight, 7pm show time. The theatre dimmed and the commercials started right on time!
But what followed was 22 minutes of non stop commercials and movie trailers. Wow. I'm a little surprised we tolerate this as a society.
Between the tickets and snacks, the 2 of us spent nearly $100 tonight, and still had to put up with 22 minutes of advertising AFTER show time.
Why don't they run ads for the half hour before show time instead of the lame movie trivia etc? Sure, they'd have to charge less because we aren't a captive audience anymore and not everybody is seated, but the audience would be less resentful and probably pay more attention.
I don't know, that's off topic even. My point is, I'm gonna cool my jets with movie going. That's too much advertising for me. I remember the early 90s when they started showing commercials at the cinema. Back then it was just one lonely Dentyne ad. But I was almost speechless that I paid for a ticket and still had to watch a commercial after the start time. Now it's out of hand.
Shame we let this happen.

I have ONE adult ticket for Infinity War that I purchased months ago, and now cannot use. ☹ (I have to pick up a friend from the airport). I'm giving it away for free, no strings attached. (well, maybe one tiny string... read on...)
It's a '3D General (ages 14 - 64)' ticket (seat H10, really good spot) for the 7 pm showing on Thursday (April 26) at the Crowfoot Crossing Cineplex Odeon (91 Crowfoot Terrace NW, Calgary, AB, T3G 2L5).

In Metro Vancouver, through acquisitions/mergers they now run nearly all the theatres.
In the grocery sector, Sobey's bought Safeway and they were forced to sell a bunch of stores to their competitors. Seems to me that Cineplex has even less competition (hence $17.50 movie tickets). What gives?
For those of you unaware, Cineplex has been showing and will continue to show each of the Harry Potter movies at their Yonge and Dundas location, one per week, until the end of summer.
Edit 2: Movies screen once per day, for $6.

Hi all. Me and my wife are wanting to go and watch the new Halloween film at odeon tonight. All the films have AD. Does anyone know if we can watch the film as normal or is the narrator on the screen?
Je trouve cela ridicule. Les films 'en matinée' coute 11.75$ admission générale. C exactement là que tu as droit a ton film gratuit (adm gen) bref tu économise 1.75$ et 20% pour le pop-corn. C loin de valoir la peine !
Il te fera payé la différence si tu visionnes en dehors de admission générale lol. Si je m'engage à un abonnement par mois donne moi au moins plus que ca!
