A list of puns related to "Cheese Shop sketch"
The Brie
Wherever I get to the parts (Gandalf & Aragorn) about the "hunt for Athelas" in the Houses of Healing, I wonder if some of the Pythons were fans of LOTR. Is it just me?
I'm on a quest to find and try them all, and am about 60% through the list. Obviously, Venezuelan beaver cheese doesn't exist, but I'm beginning to wonder if many of the cheeses mentioned in the early 70's sketch don't exist any more.
Was getting a bagel this morning with a friend who ordered blueberry cream cheese. The bagel shop did not have blueberry, and she was shocked as she felt it was a pretty standard flavor for a NYC bagel shop.
I disagreed, saying that anything beyond plain, scallion, and lox were extras and not really something "standard." A Seinfeldian argument ensued, r/askNYC be our referee.
Should a TRUE NYC Bagel Shop be offering more flavors of cream cheese? Notably...blueberry.

What is funny about a man asking for different types of cheese and being rejected? Not trying to be rude, just trying to understand.
The men working in the shop doing the calisthenic-like dancing could be considered funny, but I just don't get the rest of the skit.

Iβve been to the Euphoric Cheese Shop a few times and it is always a wonderful experience. I know a lot of you live far away, but I make the trip out from Powell every other month or so just to try the cheese and pick up a few. We usually turn it into a low cost date by sampling a few cheeses and buying some that we like. We usually just ask the owner to suggest what to try. They also have βorphan cheeseβ that are small amounts that they sell at a discount. We buy those as a surprise to try later.
Iβm not at all affiliated with the shop but I think itβs a very nice locally owned business and the owners are super friendly and personable. I definitely recommend trying it out sometime.
We no longer have an actual cheese shop to my knowledge now that the one across from the Keystone Mall shut down. Goose the Market is the only place that comes somewhat close to what Iβm looking for.
Hello! Iβm looking for any advice fellow cheesemongers can give me to get started. I work at a grocery store and a spot opened up in the cheese shop so I went for it. Itβs a one person shop so itβs all on me and no one else has any knowledge about cheese. Im having trouble finding any info online so if you have any helpful links please send them my way. Im mainly struggling with getting good uniform cuts and my wraps are so bad and take me forever! I always have way too much film bunched up on the back but Iβm careful with the amount of film I use. I tried to find a video demonstration but couldnβt really find anything useful. I use a heat and seal wrap machine that has cheese film. I understand it might be difficult to explain but Iβm very stressed out so I figured id take my chances here. Thanks you everyone!
Iβm currently studying abroad and Iβve been into making my own sandwiches here. The quality of the ingredients are amazingβ¦
Curious on whatβs the best way to request a small amount of cheese in French? Is it rude to only buy enough for a sandwich that day?
I wanted to send a bottle of wine and a cheese/charcuterie board to my friend in Peoria area. Does anyone have any good recommendations that also deliver? A boutique grocer-type place like foxtrot.com
Thank you!!!
Monty Python's Parrot Sketch shop owner vs. the Cheese shop owner at avoiding providing any useful service to an annoyed, yet unarmed patron.
