A list of puns related to "Cheers Beacon Hill"
Eight years ago today, a man was randomly attacked in Beacon Hill Park and almost died and the case is still unsolved. It's something I still think about from time to time. I know it's not as shocking to hear about an attack or death in Beacon Hill Park nowadays with the amount that have happened the past couple of years mostly due to the homeless camps, but back in 2014 it was a lot more unheard of.
To recap: On January 11 2014, shortly before midnight, a 48 yr old man was standing near the shelter at Finlayson Point, a very dark area of the park, when a man came up and stabbed him repeatedly. The two men did not know each other, there was no prior communication between them, and robbery is not considered a motive. The attacker ran off when two people out for a late night walk stumbled upon the scene. The people were able to call for help and saved his life. It's sheer luck he survived.
The survivor spent 10 days in hospital with serious injuries. Two weeks after the attack, the police released a sketch and description of the suspect. Here is the sketch. The man was described as 20-30 yrs old, 6' tall and 200 lbs, physically fit, short red hair, green eyes, and a short, full, red beard. He was wearing a dark yellow/mustard or yellow/green hoody, grey pants, and board/skate shoes.
What was interesting and immediately stood out to me and to others was the fact that the survivor was able to identify things like the color of the attacker's eyes. This is where the attack took place. There are no lights at the shelter and it was a dark and stormy night. There is well known gay cruising in Beacon Hill Park and my thought at the time was perhaps he recognized the man from cruising earlier. This was echoed by people on reddit at the time and there were references to gay cruising in articles about the attack. However, the police assured that the two did not know each other and it was not a hate crime. I'm actually familiar with the gay cruising in Beacon Hill Park and the attack did not occur where the gay cruising takes plac

Just bought a 1977 split-level home on Beacon Hill. The inspector found the water pressure at 130 PSI which is way over safer operating pressure. He recommended a pressure reducing valve to bring it down to less than 80 PSI. Any you guys recommend a local plumber that is reputable? Thanks!
I get why Scott and Stiles are singular children, they gravitated towards each other and see each other as brothers but what about Allison, Lydia, Jackson, Danny, Kira, and Erica?
Also, most of the parents are only children.
Am I the only one who finds this strange?
I was thinking today and came up with this. There's a lot of old money in Boston but guess what? They're quiet about it. Hillz and her family lived in one of the richest and most beautiful neighborhoods in Boston. Even with the new money folks, there just aren't tons of people flaunting it. A grifter might hide out in the suburbs while duping folks, but I doubt she would have gotten away with it in Boston proper.
Can you imagine? That enemies to lovers would've been epic. Maybe not enemies, but there was definitely friction between them at first, and they had chemistry, that was obvious. Idk about you but I would've loved it. If Adelaide Kane hadn't been offered the starring role in Reign, maybe we would have seen this.
Iβm just making my way through the series for the first time. In season 6, when Peter and Stiles are in the train station in the rift thingy, Peter tells Stiles that they arenβt in Beacon Hills, as thereβs no train station there. So how come in Season 2 Derek and his pack were holed up in the abandoned train depot?
I know this is a long shot! I knocked on a couple neighbors doors but then gave up. if you or your buddy parked an SUV within 5 blocks of jefferson park and you have an oregon license plate beginning 164, your car has been idling for at least 28 hours now. eventually you're gonna run out of gas, and then your battery will die b/c the lights and wipers are still on.
edit: tried MegaRAID01's recommended VIN checker, but car wasn't reported stolen or salvaged. it's a 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i.
I just bought a house on Beacon Hill and of course the HVAC (electric) has stopped working on me just in time for our little cold front. Can anyone recommend a reliable HVAC repair person?
Thanks greatly in advance.
I've begun to expect this every time we have a significant snowstorm.
