Bike light fell right off my handlebars while biking home last night between 6:30-7pm. It was a fairly nice light that belonged to my partner, so if anyone happened to pick up a flashing light last night on Hampshire going into Beacon Streets, please let me know!
hi, i'm a new transfer student and rising soph and i got placed into a single here and i can't find much info online
apparently there's not many people in these dorms so i'm a bit worried about meeting new friends
i totally thought i was in danielsen hall because my housing thing mentioned 512 as the check-in but i was wrong lol
can anyone give me the full run-down on the dorms? still kinda confused on what they are. thanks!

God I wish I didn’t have to write this. It’s currently 11:46pm. I’m sitting by my door, waiting for facilities to arrive, with a mouse in my pantry.
This is not the first time I’ve seen rodents and it will damn well be the last. I wrote a letter to the dean of students because this is absolutely unacceptable given the cost of housing.
BU facilities/exterminators have failed to take care of this problem. It’s unbelievable.
I hope none of you ever have to go to bed hearing mice or rats in your heaters, walls, or pantries.

UPDATE: an exterminator from facilities came and has patched up the holes, apparently. I fully expect to see more mice and when I do, I'm out of here. Res life also reached out to me on behalf of the dean but I don't expect this to go anywhere

Hi, just officially found out that I’m living in a double in 844 Beacon with my best friend for next semester :) I was just wondering if anyone had any photos/details from the apartment that they could send our way?
I tried finding other posts on this subreddit, but there was only one photo that we could find of part of the bedroom, and people were giving pretty mixed signals about their experiences there.

I'm a freshman who will be taking fifth-semester Spanish in the spring. I want to drop Spanish after this year so I can make room for other courses I enjoy, but I don't want to loose my level of proficiency. Does anyone have any experience in the Global House on Beacon Street? Did it help your language abilities? Is it mostly upperclassmen? Any mice or roaches that I may have to room with lol??
Also, I plan on learning another language (French or Chinese?) this summer, so will I also be able to talk to French or Chinese speakers in addition to Spanish speakers if I choose to apply in the future?
