When reading about the duo and their crimes it is often mentioned that they filmed their horrible acts. There is footage available of them "interviewing" their victims, stripping them, tying them down and such, which is bad enough as it is. But it is often said that there is footage of them brutally torturing and killing them. However while researching I haven't really found much credible info on that claim. During the trial of Ng from what I've heard they only had circumstantial evidence on him, but if they had footage of him and Lake directly killing, raping and horribly torturing their victims, wouldn't that be used? So what is the case, what kind of footage really does exist?
It's just something that confuses me and it would be nice to get it cleared up.

Does anyone know any details on how Charles Ng was able to enter Canada on a commercial bus that went through Canadian Customs while he was on our 10 most wanted? Canada would have known about him because they also actively watch for US fugitives trying to enter their country. I realize it isn't the toughest security to get through but I've always wondered how that played out when he crossed.
And did he really sound like that? I heard they play a recording but it was a while since I listened. Anyone got an Audio of Ngโs voice?
I live 20 mins from the cabin where the murders took place, if anyone can leave articles or send articles/videos about the murders I would be much Appreciative, I plan on going near the cabin/property soon as well to record the land and house just to see
I wonder what book he would likely use for possible source material? But I don't even know how he would handle watching the videotapes?

Surprising enough, this was the hardest subtype to find a serial killer for (even harder than 9w1). Not to say that 7w6s donโt commit murder, but it seems they do rarely in series (more often to be one time killers or spree killers). Well, the one I did find was absolutely awful. There are few murder cases I stray from being interested in, but this one had even me apprehensive to research. The serial killer I believe is a 7w6 is Charles Ng aka half of โthe Miranda Murderersโ. Ng and his partner Leonard Lake killed a confirmed 11 victims, though are estimated to have killed around 25 from 1983-1985. Their MO was to capture people (sometimes whole families), bring them to their murder cabinโs sex dungeon, kill the husbands and children (often babies), brutally rape and torture the women while filming, and murder them in a variety of ways.
So what inclines me to think this monster is a 7? From an early age, Ng was shown to be an active boy who was uninterested in sitting still or focusing. In grade school, he performed poorly which sadly led his overly strict father to physically abuse him. Ng was interested in things like martial arts and military history and weaponry. The reason for this interest seemed to be nothing besides thinking it was cool. He even forged his way into the US Marines. He did this, because he thought killing people and using guns was cool. Ng was discharged from the military for stealing weapons. Stealing and shoplifting was a near compulsive problem Ng had due to a poor lack of impulse control. Ng also was into other things like Molotov cocktails, arson, fighting, and writing sexually explicit notes to a teacher. Unfortunately, he met his match made in hell in the form of Leonard Lake. Already a paranoid survivalist, rapist, and murder, Lake shared a fascination with the military, weaponry, and survivalist living with Ng. He at some point showed Ng his amateur BDSM pornography, as Lake did frequently to people (an odd fact corroborated by many who knew him), and told him of his plan called โThe Miranda Projectโ. This was influenced by the book โThe Collectorโ by John Fowles. Lake owned a cabin to use for surviving the apocalypse, which Lake thought was coming soon.
