A list of puns related to "Chain shift"
Do you feel the narrative changing?
MSM is pushing the narrative that retail investors are disappointed with the "lack of news and transparency" from the company. This cannot be further from the truth. As a retail investor in GameStop, my ONLY expectation is that my favorite (video) game store continues to grow to meet the increasing market demands for video game products and that they delight customers along the way. I do not care about an NFT marketplace.
The GameStop inventory continues to grow. See their new and improved website for proof. The customer service team has been delighting customers. See any social media platform for proof. Therefore, I am a happy investor! Everything is in place for successful growth, it is a matter of time before the market catches up.
I invested in this company for two primary reasons.
[1] Ryan Cohen is a visionary entrepreneur and businessman. He has a proven track record of making the customer experience enjoyable and providing a wide variety of products at the best prices.
[2] Shorts still haven't covered.
Don't get me wrong, the NFT marketplace will be great. But it could fall flat on its face and I would still be satisfied as an investor. Think about Chewy again. Cohen started a company providing quality products in a NICHE industry. You want pet food at great prices from nice people --> go to Chewy! That's it. No frills. No NFT marketplace. It is just a good business. If that is all GameStop did, I would be beyond thrilled!
That's why there are no announcements by the way. What do they have to say? They are a video game store that sells video games and a bunch of other stuff! The company is learning to delight customers with unbeatable prices and thoughtful customer service. Nothing else matters!
LOTS of other companies have "side projects" in next generation industries. Many of them never even see the light of day! Those companies are NOT dependent upon the new product for future success of the company. Take Facebook for instance. They are creating metaverse Ray Ban glasses. I have not heard any announcement about this. You know why? It's Facebook! They make money whether or not they sell any glasses or any more FB Portals. In the same way, GameStop is still the premier video game retailer at the end of the day and that's all that matters.
By the way, I've noticed Ryan Cohen's simple business philosophy (finding a niche market, providing all products in market at the

The job pays $15/hour, which is decent for my area, and it's a genuinely nice place to work with respectful management. But this thing they do with the scheduling kind of drives me bonkers.
To give an overview of how breaks work at my job:
If you work at least 6 hours, you get a 30 minute UNPAID break.
You get additional PAID 15 minute breaks depending on a shift's length.
Fewer than 4 hours: No break
More than 4 hours but fewer than 6: One 15m
More than 6 hours but fewer than 8: Two 15m's
10 (I think) hours or more: Three 15m's (working this long isn't really the norm here, unless it's requested)
To their credit, they are very insistent on us taking our breaks, and like reminding us to take them. But then they throw those extra 30 minutes into our total shift time if it's more than 6 hours. If it was paid, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but it isn't.
One of the purposes of a 30 or more minute break is to, well, break up the time of your shift so you don't have to work that full period (8 hours, for example). Adding an extra 30 minutes to make up for that break means you would have to work that full 8 hours, disregarding the 15 minute breaks. It doesn't sit right with me at all, because it's still time I'm spending at work.
To make it worse, that extra 30 minutes they schedule you for doesn't count towards the 15 minute break requirements. So if you're scheduled to be there for 6 1/2 hours, they only consider you as "working" for 6, so you don't get the two 15m's. Just one 15m and the 30m.
I mean, it makes sense when you look at the requirements, but it just feels dirty to me. No other place I've worked at does this. What do you all think?

There is strong evidence for a chain shift happening in RP right now. Given the direction of this change, we can make a prediction of the future vowel inventory of RP. While linguists are not meant to predict things, I think there is a good basis for a prediction.
Past
It started off with a vowel pile up: /aΛ/ backed to /ΙΛ/, resulting in /ΙΛ/, /Ι/ and /ΙΛ/ all being very close to each other. So, /Ι, ΙΛ/ > /Ι, oΛ/, which cause /ΚΛ, uΛ/ to front to /Ι΅Λ, Κu/.
Present
/Ι, oΛ, Ι΅Λ, Κu/ are continuing to experience the same changes in the past.
Then further changes have started happening to short vowels called the "Counterclockwise Modern RP chain shift", but I would that this is just one part of this bigger chain shift. Vowels are moving in this direction: /Ιͺ/ ---> /e/, /e/ ---> /Ι/, /Γ¦/ ---> /Γ€/, /Ι/ ---> /Κ/, /Ι/ ---> /Ι΅/, /Κ/ ---> /Ι΅/.
Along with these changes, /ΙΛ/ has not centralized, unlike in most other accents and /ΙΛ/ is lowering to /Γ¦Λ/.
Future
In the future, these changes will likely continue.
If future changes could be as follows:
So for more context, I've been working there for less than a month - I'm very new and the whole rostering system is different to the store I worked at before.
The managers make the rosters a week beforehand to make sure everyone can come in like planned - I was rostered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The week before the shifts, I told my manager I could work Friday and Saturday, but not Sunday. She told me that it was alright and that I should just sign the shifts I could work and not sign the shift that I couldn't work. So I did just that.
So I work Friday and Saturday and then Sunday I'm chilling at home when I get a missed call from my work. I return the call and one of the managers tell me I was meant to be at work that day.
Obviously I'm confused so I tell him I didn't sign the shift so I thought I didn't have to show up. (On the roster folder, they have a printed text saying that if you don't sign a shift, it will be given away to somebody else. So that's what I assumed happened.)
But then the manager tells me it's still my responsibility to find somebody to work my shift instead of me, but I was never told that.
I was only told that if I agreed to a shift and for whatever reason I couldn't show up, that I needed to find somebody else who could work that shift.
So i apologised and also told him about the misunderstanding, and he said that it was alright and that I didn't know.
I told him it wouldn't happen again and that I was very sorry.
But now i'm scared that the managers don't like me - I've heard them shit talking other coworkers for doing a no show or pissing them off one way or another. I want the managers to like me and I'm worried. Another reason is because on my Saturday shift I had to leave an hour early (I made sure my coworkers were fine without me helping out and that the store wasn't too busy) because I started feeling sick and obviously working in a food based environment, you don't want a sick employee on site.
Am i going to be ok?
Could we see a mainstream move from ETH?
Which chains could be front runners?
I bought an old 3x7 Japanese hybrid in the hopes of turning it into a gravel bike. I changed to drop bars and swapped out the old MTB shifters for 2x8 Claris STIs, but I didn't change out the front derailleur since the bike mechanic I go to says he can just adjust/lock it.
Now, I'm having problems with shifting my front derailleur since the chain won't upshift to the bigger ring. Bike rides great and rear shifting has no issues. I've tried getting a second opinion from another bike mechanic I know and he's adjusted the front derailleur, but after adjusting it to fix the upshifting, it won't go down to the smaller ring anymore.
Should I just get a new front derailleur that's made for 2x cranksets? Or are there any other alternatives? I had my mechanic take out 1 ring from the original 3x crankset to make it into a 2x one, if that information is of any use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
The Cronos network continues to grow and Tectonic will be one of the next big things to happen to Cronos since the start of the network. Are you looking forward to its launch?
All theyβll do is lie to you and manipulate you. And condescend to you that you should be grateful for the pleasure of it.
$10 an hour is not worth it. This is the second time in two years theyβve laid me off. Barely even get 25 hours a week, schedule me for clopeners constantly, pay the literal minimum they can and refused to give me the company wide bonus last yearβ¦why? Because I hadnβt accrued enough time with the companyβ¦why? Because they fucking LAID ME OFF.
All bullshit
